Anthony Joshua, 27-3 with 24 KO’s vs Deontay Wilder, 43-3 with 42 KO’s.
Is this still a good fight? Would you purchase the PPV if they fought in 2024? Do you think this match still has entertainment value to it, in your opinion?
It’s still a big fight no longer the biggest though ,that is now Fury vs Joshua but like Wilder he probably loses bf that happens ……….Usyk is a good fight for anyone but really only a third Joshua fight could spark as much interest there bc Usyk needs that type of opponent, I don’t believe Fury vs Usyk can generate a Joshua vs Usyk interest no matter who wins .
The problem for Wilder is he has to take a safety fight and pick an opponent with less punching power then go for Joshua as a last fight bc I stated this awhile now his shelf life is 2025 or before that , the same with Fury .
If Wilder fights Joshua it will be the same results I expected anyway even worse now that’s a brutal knockout loss for him and that’ll be calling it a day his wife won’t dare let him fight after that one . I’d still like to see it though ,let’s be real Wilder staying active can put on a better performance then he did with Parker however you won’t notice it because Joshua hits to fast to hard to precise for him it’ll be over bf round 4 .
- - U B pickin’ peanuts wif Deyonce on he peanut farm again is it now?

Still worth watching the mentally fragile Wilder get smashed by AJ. We been waiting too long and now we have the added entertainment of Wilder's post fight crazy. What will it be this time? Costume too heavy? Trainer was a spy for the other guy? Rocks in the gloves lol? He's got rocks in his head, like his delusional fans. As someone on here stated: "If Wilder burns his steak, it's somehow AJ's fault" lol.
Yes, it's still a fight that should be made. Once wilder beats a few bums, people will be saying he ko s Josh in 1 round again.
That's the problem. He doesn't want to fight anyone. He can fight Martin and Ruiz on the PBC side and he is back in the picture if he beats them. Instead he wants to push regurgitated AJ propaganda with 78 Sports TV and BS his way into another opportunity. Messed up $120 million. Trash camp with Scott and just blew 2 Saudi paydays. It's all AJ's fault. What a joke! And shows the low IQ of the people who follow him with the nonsense.
Fighters are too greedy, so it will be decided on the kind of money each fighter wants. Only the Saudis can make it happen. So you better stop claiming who wants it and who doesn't want it. It will always be based on money. End of story.

But what exactly does "put on a better performance" mean, in the case of Wilder? It's not like he's suddenly going to start boxing the ears off of guys. What we saw was basically exactly how Wilder operates, minus the punch. The only improvement he can make is to land, otherwise it's status quo.
It would not be a "good" fight, but it would be an interesting fight.
Wilder crisis or not, I still think that AJ's psyche is unstable, and his chin and stamina can't have improved that much. Wilder still has a better conditioning, and was able to take good shots from Parker.
So it's the same as before: if Wilder lands just one punch in the right spot, AJ's finished. But if he has left his brain somewhere else - as it appeared against Parker - then it's another story altogether.
I'd be very impressed if the fight is held in the US or the UK. If it's the Saudis that decide to make fights, nah. Anyone would fight anyone if they get paid Saudi Oil Money. Bottom line is it's not fans who decide what is made in this sport. You're an idiot if you think so.
They're still two big guys with power so it would probably still be fun to watch. If Wilder lands that right hand he could still score a devastating KO so there's still jeopardy.
AJ wouldn't get much credit after Wilder just lost so it would be a purely financial decision.
Ship sailed about 4yrs ago such is the norm for boxing sadly.
Both have declined in Wilder case its been dramatic and severe that we hardly see any mention of bombsquad on here anymore.
AJ will knock him out within 3 rounds.
I think he already earned big fights and probably should have taken them before.
I'll still watch Joshua v Wilder. I don't think Wilder was ever really at Joshua's level... but Joshua still needs his name. And seeing those two coming out of opposite corners will still be a big buzz moment.
It will be a weird 'end of an era' type of fight and, who knows, maybe Wilder rewrites his own history with a win.
Wilder is 1-3 in last 4 fights. he must beat somebody to earn another shot on top guys.
Not really, no. Wilder looks shot to hell. If he can't pull the trigger any more, there's no point in him getting any further brain damage. Fight marinated too long and now it's spoiled beyond saving.
why not? not much else to look forward to amongst the top HW, unless its aj fury... fury wilder usyk are getting older, we already saw aj usyk 2x (those were low key great boxing matches)
