Straight no brainer if you made bank already is to fight for titles. Until then you fight for money. AJ dont need money. He craves legacy.
Time is ticking...
Joshua wants to be a 3 time world champ. That's something people will remember. Win or lose against Wilder means nothing.
The question asked was Wilder or title shot. Anybody with a brain goes for a title shot 1st. The question shouldve been Wilder for a title or after the title shot vs Wilder.
It's not like Wilder brings even money or close to what AJ brings.
Weird interview but he was always a weird guy... and he's definitely getting weirder.
He was always the one trying to create an undisputed champion... which is what everyone says they want!
yeah but people dont want to see him fight for a title, im sure the vast majority would much prefer a wilder fight

But this idea that fighters are scared of each other is kids stuff. They're boxers. For the right money or opportunities they'll fight anyone.
Joshua may talk strangely, but his actions have always been consistent. He fought for titles, he fought to unify, he fought mandatories to keep his titles, he fought immediate rematches to try to get them back.

If Joshua gets past Wallin, he would get stopped against Wilder. I despise Deontay Wilder and I would root for Joshua if they were to fight. But let's be realistic, Joshua would get put to sleep against Wilder.
I am actually picking Otto Wallin to pull off the upset against Joshua on Saturday. Call me crazy, but Joshua hasn't been the same since his losses. Wallin is a skilled southpaw heavyweight with size and durability. Joshua not only has confidence issues but also a weak chin. I think Wallin stops Joshua late. Wallin KO 11.
He rather fight Filip for a title than fight Wilder for a boat load of money?
For the people that are gong to say he doesn't need money he is in Saudi Arabia fighter for a lot of cash.
AJ thinks people will remember his title shot more than a wilder fight, hes trying his hand at standup i think except noone is laughing with him just at him

Okay, but you can't possibly compare AJ to Tank. AJ fought for the title and won it. Afterward he defended against actual contenders. That present day AJ seems to have lost the plot as well as his mojo doesn't compare to a fighter who has never found either.
true
tank is afraid of anybody good & especially if they have a title
AJ just got the heebie jeebies about wilder
Never seen fighter & his fanbase so scared & terrified of other fighter as AJ & his fanbase scared & terrified of Deontay Wilder!
Joshua ran from Wilder for years postponing this fight. And Deontay is 38 now & he is still afraid of fighting him.
AJ reminds me of Gervonta 'Tank' Davis... fighting easy opponents & avoiding boxers who can beat him. In fact, Wilder - AJ reminds of Tank - Haney case.

earbuds AJ just basically confirms right from the horses mouth all the has been said about him and wilder over the years, his idea of 'legacy' in this video is completely backwards and hes made it up just for wilder lol, thats what it sounds like to me, crazy stuff really
"You have never heard someone say oh this person fought that person"
LMAO thats exactly what u hear, this interview must be depressing even for AJ diehards
hes talking about tik tok questions and more money more business
"In 20 years they will never say who ive fought" LMAO this is hilarious stuff
AJ is a whack job, no other explanation and terrified of wilders shadow, sad
shifty eyes AJ just craps himself when he even has to say the word wilder, just grab yer nuts and say Yeah lets make that fight finally, i want to beat wilder and shut him up, go back to the dark room and try it again
Joshua knows that Wilder is a savage... Joshua understands that his chin is not built for Wilder's hands.
Fighter's that collect shiny belts rather than fight the threats are NOT the kind of fighters that make boxing exiciting. Using Joshua's logic, he would sooner fight Bruno Mars for a shiny object than fight a REAL threat for NO title.
I smell fear....
Wilder has nothing to offer now
no title or any legacy
the bum turned down 100m to avoid aj and now he is begging for a fight
it’s simple, get a title and aj will give you the fight
aj is the landlord of the division still
or before number 1 contender and aj will let you fight him
wilder is finished and lost his pen and balls
don't see the problem with the answer.
Crawford chose belts over the likes of prime keef, prime manny, prime swift, prime porter, prime brook etc.
Canelo is basically a belt collector.
Bam is a belt collector.
Golovkin was a belt collector.
The charlos were belt collectors.
I keep telling nsb: The belts do matter to these fighters.
So when you have someone who's chasing belts, you're not going to get the fantasy booked fights or if you do, they're going to disappoint you (tank/cryan, for example) due to faulty expectations.
lol ok brother
