It's one of the biggest fights in boxing if it ever gets made.. right now they trying to come together to make the fight happen. Tank-Haney or Haney-Tank.
However, negotiations from both parties seem to clash as who has the upper advantage on sides.
Tank and his team sees Haney as the B Side, because of his PPV status, the draw, and what he can generate with his popularity. He did make a shit tonne in his last fight with Ryan Garcia correct? (a source stated Garcia got paid 30M from the fight) - imagine what Tank got?
Haney and his team sees Davis as the B side, because he has a better resume with names on his record, his accomplishments at 135 and current 140 WBC belt, but compare Haney to Tank from a business point of view, he doesn't sell out in terms of a PPV cash out.
This fight I think will be unrealistic to make unless they leave their egos at the door and come up with a fair share of what they could agree on. There will be a lot of disagreements in the negotiations imo, the weight, rehydration clause, favored split etc
