I wouldn't see a Parker win as any kind of shock. I think it's a terrible choice for Wilder.
People are forgetting Wilder is 38 old rusty part time fighter.
Surely the Saudis have already paid them for their upcoming dive jobs.
I reckon them camel jockeys would rather see mostly big black dudes beat each other for real rather than wager on fixed fights.
Only downside to this news is that if there is no KO win, you wonder if the judges will be influenced by the potential money down the road.
Otherwise great news. Sets up an opponent for the Usyk v Fury winner.
My thoughts exactly as Wallin can't break an egg so he will have to shut out Joshua to get a very narrow win or worse a draw. I don't think it will matter with Parker as he either knocks Wilder out or he loses on points or gets knocked out himself.
I see a Joshua as a massive favourite against Wallin. He's active, been at a higher level for a long time. I don't really see the doubt - Joshua should absolutely beat Wallin. I give Wallin a chance but it would be a big upset.
Whereas I'm not even convinced Wilder should be favourite against Parker. Parker is still active and been in with a generally higher standard of opponent. Wilder has barely fought in years.

Well if Wilder gets KOed by Parker the Joshua-Wilder fight is most probably dead. I don't see Wilder winning a rematch and he doesn't have time to rebuild.
If Wilder hits him with any relevance on the shoulder or leg even, Parker is going to go on his bike like he did vs Ruiz. Wallin is more dangerous for AJ especially if he gets in another timid boxing match.
Speaking up timid, fight like that vs Wilder and he is going out like Breazeale and Spilka.
I'll believe it after the bell sounds and punches are thrown in there.
- - Deyonce only good for short notice TBA, To Be Announced fight where he in 8 weeks of training picks an opponent week or two before they fight, ie: the l'l floydy fight model.
Moreover, 50/50 Mighty Joe Parker KOs him to have some unfinished business with AJ from their 1st fight.

If? It's almost a 3% chance Wilder beats Joshua on points.
That's dope if it finally happens. The funny thing about it, whoever beats who in the ring, the other guy is going to show tremendous respect probably because both are going to make a crazy amount of money.
On the other side, the fans of each fighter are going to lose their minds as to why their guy lost the fight. Something neither fighter will ever give a sh!t when he's walking away into the sunset with millions and millions in the bank, lol.

I'd rather watch a Parker v AJ rematch anyway.
