andrade held a world title at 154. He held a world title at 160. He fought david at 168. That's 2 divisions, 154>160>168. I have no clue what you're saying.
fighters who can make weight at 30 are fighting in their weight division. I'm not going to argue this point. They stay there until they're close to retirement when they get lazy to make weight. I'm not gonna find a datadump and run analytics for you, but i would not be surprised if 95% of fighters fight at the same weight between age of 27-37.
Andrade didn't get the fights at 154, and he didn't get the fights at 160. I have no idea who to blame (and neither do you), in my opinion pbc did him dirty. But he sure as hell didn't magically outgrow 154 when he was 30 years old. He took a huge risk and lost. The end.
lmao. He hasn't fought at 154 since 2017. 6 years. So he didn't move up two weight. classes to fight david. He was already campaigning at 168 prior to the david fight. An example of a fighter who moved 2 weight classes to fight is brooke vs ggg. Not andrade. Canelo also fought at 147 when he was younger. It dosen't mean he's a natural 147 lber or 154 lber anymore. People out grow their divisions.
The guy that hasn't made 154 since 2017 and is a natural 154 lber with a height of 6 1 and shredded at 168. Alright man. Keep believing that.
Yes, you are lying by saying he moved up two weight classes when he only moved up one. And techinally he didn't move up at all because he already fought at 168.
2017? We are end of 2023 now. 6 years. He fought at mw since then and he moved up one weight class. So how the hell is he a natural 154 lber? He outgrew 154 a long time ago. and he outgrew 160. And prior to the benavidez fight he already fought at 168 lbs in January and had a whole year for his body to fill out at 168 lbs and it did. And he's 6 1 and was shredded at 168 lbs. LMAO. He came in heavier than benavidez did at the weigh in.

He fought at 154 in 2017 at age 29. Making weight when you're almost 30 means you somewhat belong at that weight. He wasn't a 22 year old kid camping out at lower weight and bullying smaller fighters. He spent 4 years at MW and last year at SMW. That's 2 divisions.
There's no lying - those are facts on boxrec you can look up yourself. I don't like Andrade, never did. You gotta be able to not like the fighter, but respect their journey in this sport and have an objective view.
Benavidez is a tough fight for anyone. He's destroyed his opposition. Andrade took a huge risk, and it did not pay off. Props to him for taking the fight.

Stop lying. He moved up one weight class. Not two. He hasn't fought at 154 since 2014. And he was a massive mw. He likely won't be able to make 160. 6 1 with a 74 inch reach. Benavidez is only 2 inches taller and he's one of the tallest smw's out there. He fought at 154 in 2017 at age 29. Making weight when you're almost 30 means you somewhat belong at that weight. He was unknown because he looked good agains second tier opposition and nobody had seen him go into second gear. He talked about a lot of his power that he really never had and with all those skills the power and activity of David overcame it easily as the rounds went by.
He did show some cojones fighting back but at the end he caved in. I got off his bandwagon long time ago because I was tired of waiting for him to step up. All he was looking for a money fight without any real fan base or fighting notable opponents to make a case for himself.
Props to both guys for taking the challenge.
David is a monster probably unstoppable from 168-175 but Andrade did show crazy heart
Crazy heart recently was Robson Conceicao vs Navarrete. I will say Andrade at least tried, unlike certain guys named Charlo.
I'll give him credit for trying to win as opposed to just surviving.
"At least he didn't knock me out."
Quote Of The Year :lol1:
He quit on the stool. Went like a b-itch
the most satisfying thing about is that slimy bad behavior and scamming the system was not rewarded here.
Imagine if he had won, after winning vacant titles from nobodies, defending them against nobodies, for years? Then last night wins a close decision maybe controversial against benavidez, and finally gets the big payday against canelo which he would happily get on his bike for in the fight cash his check then never fight again.
People are elated because it gives you a sense of justice.
i hate andrade with a passion. He would always make videos cursing fighters out and claiming they are ducking him.
The problem with Andrade and guys like Shakur, Hitchens, Keyshawn is the media over hypes them its the era were in just flick out a meaningless jab clinch and run and your praised smh
It's the American medias fault to be honest.
Yet real fighters like Benavidez and Matias have to do double and jump through hoops to get any credit.
Trey Shaw, every single post you make on this website is made with racist motives. No exceptions.
Admit it, you are the alt of the banned poster Trey Shaw and you’ve been banned here many times for making racist posts.
Not really. He's a defense first fighter who makes opponents look bad. He didn't get the fights because he's not an attractive option. He tried to do all he can to get a big fight. He moved up 2 divisions to get a PPV fight. He did what he could.
I don't hate on fighters who do that.

He didn't get the fights because he never wanted them. Nobody makes it to 35, has 31 wins, and becomes a 2 division world titilst without ever fighting another man who has won a legitimate world title by accident.
He could have fought guys like Charlo, Lara, Janibek, etc and he ducked those fights. His plan all along was to fight nobodies for vacant belts, defend those belts against even worse nobodies, and then try to talk his way into a Canelo or GGG fight he never earned.
You know how you earn a big fight? You accept fights against guys with names and then you beat them. Like how Benavidez beat Dirrell, Lemieux, Plant, and Andrade. That's what's going to get him a Canelo fight, not blasting out bums and whining to the media about it.
Andrade went life and death in his prime with Vanes Martirosyan. Andrade is a Euro level guy, minus the being European. Martirosyan, Williams, Sulecki, Culcay. That's his level.
Bottom line is there will always be a guy that would nullify that "hit and not get hit" style of boxing.
Andrade is another fighter who likes to give it, but hates taking it. With Benavidez who is willing to get hit,
such style is useless.

There wasnt really any good outcome for Andrande here. The problem is he already had a joke of a career at 35.
If Andrade gets blown out, like he did, it just shows what a hype job he was all the time and that his avoid of competition was all strategic.
If Andrade won it would have just shown that he blew all his potential during his prime after finally stepping up at 35...
I guess joke is on us that he finally got a cash out fight
he took a chance by waiting around and not doing anything in the hopes of landing a big fight(canelo/ggg) that he really didnt deserve. 2 top 10 wins over the #8 and 9 guys at 160 arent very scintillating. i mean hes better than steve rolls or rocky fielding but not really a big miss not fighting a guy with 0 top 5 wins. its not like canelo avoiding ggg or benavidez. those are bad looks.
He's 6 1 and was shredded at 168 lbs. He has no more fat to lose. How is he going to make 160 without being severely weight drained? If he goes to 160 Janibek eats him alive.
He was at 160 when the fight was ordered 1.5 years ago
That was the first Andrade fight I have seen lol. Would like to see him against Charlo
Andrade vs charlo is a very even fight but given how bad Charlo looked against jose I have to favor Andrade right now
