After witnessing history in how Terence Crawford completely dismantled Errol Spence and finishing him off,
Are you at all interested (s a fan of the sport) in watching them two rematch??
I understand Errol Spence's stance, pride, ego etc etc is making him quite stubborn (with all due respect) which is compelling/pushing him to rematch Bud, but I see no point in him rematching Bud as a fan.
Your thoughts.
That fight was the biggest disappointment of the last decade for me.
After about a round and half you knew Spence was getting crushed and the only thing he could really do was ensure he took enough lumps and went out on his arse.
Of course, this happens.
This is boxing and there is always a chance that one guy completely has the other's number. But this is why top fighters should fight eachother. Marinade it forever and have a damp squib of a fight and it just p.issed everyone but maybe big Crawford fans off.
I was watching that Usyk and Fury felt and just grateful both of them were performing well.
The danger is always that for all the build up that one turns up and gets absolutely f.ucking slapped. Which is profoundly disappointing.
So no. Spence should never fight Crawford ever again. Surely. No shame in it. Crawford is much better than him.
Agree 100%
Very well said.
If Spence went up to 154 and looks really good for a few fights, then it's worth thinking about.
As it stands, I think Spence isn't the fighter he used to be and the beating he took won't have helped matters. So I've no interest in a rematch as it stands.
I'd have to see a very rejuvenated looking Spence blasting through the 154 division to make me even a little bit interested.
I really just think Crawford is much better than him though.
Yeah that's fantasy talk.
A few fights??? Spence HARDLY fights. A few fights would be 4 years down the line.
Bud will retire very soon.
not taking anything away from Bud winning the fight, I just think it would've been harder for him if Spence's punch resistance and reaction time wasn't completely gone. Spence was landing flush shots on Bud and it didn't even faze him
Yeah I feel you.
However people want to slice the cake in defense for Spence is invalid honestly.
Bud simply proved superiority in ALL aspects and honestly, I feel Bud was taking it easy on Spence.
Had Bud REALLY gone beast mode on him, the fight would have been over in RD. 3

Well, Spence looking whack before the fight started is all aspeculation and leads down assumpions and weird theories. Bud schooled Spence fair and square.
Now if there really were some type of issue before the fight, that's on Spence man. Spence NEVER came out and said that anything was ever wrong. The best man won and won EXTREMELY convincingly.
Now the Madrimov fight, yeah it's a completely different fight. However, madrimov's style befits Bud in that Bud should get the win quite well imho.
I feel even if Spence looks great against Fundo, Bud will school Spence even worse.

if spence looks phenomenal vs fundora, then sure why not. i'm one of the few bud fans who thought spence looked completely whack before the fight started, that's why i'm tellin people that Bud isn't gonna just blitz through madrimov, people are putting way too much emphasis on the spence fight, thinking if he did that to spence then Madrimov has no chance or some crazy **** like that

Wholeheartedly agree. Just wanna hear the haters, complainers and fanboys stfu. One of their excuses was Spence couldn't make 147 anymore and 154 was better for him.
Yeah, stupid crybaby excuses.
Skills pay the bills and the best man DEFINITELY won leaving no doubt at all.
Whether Spence couldn't make '47 is his problem, he's a 'professional', he knows what he's doing and only he bears the consequences of his actions.
I caqn only hope Spence isn't hard-headed enough to rematch Bud man, LOL
Even if he looks good against Fundo, I feel Bud schools Spence worse.

Only interested if Spence looks great vs Fundora. If it goes 12 and Spence struggles, even if he wins, then nah.

I am interested in Crawford moving up in class to 154 or 160. He has beaten a poor bunch of welter weights.
That is quite a controversial topic amongst many fans. I agree though. We know Bud is fighting at '54 now, which is good.
But yeah, the names he's fought before Spence at '47 have been quite underpar no doubt.
