He will prove he's the best heavyweight in the world when it matters. It's the way he is. Fights to the level of his opponents too much, which sometimes means a poor performance here and there.
He will become undisputed, no doubt. He always turns up for the important fights.
Actions have consequences. He got paid handsomely, even getting a special car as a gift from the Saudi's, now one must ask: At what expense?
He say's he doesn't care about money but anyone can see his #1 concern is money.
If it wasn't who wouldn't fight the likes of Chisora and Ngannou.
It's difficult to be a fan of Fury in all honesty.
When he came back and did the unthinkable and beat Wilder it's hard to not find that endearing and get behind it considering the fall he had after beating Klitshcko.
But the guy constantly lies, talks nonsense, contradicts himself and it's tiresome.
He also gave Boxing it's biggest black eye ever by arguably losing to an MMA fighter who'd never boxed as the reigning Heavyweight Champion of the world. That will damage boxing for life.
So in a word; No. I still think he's a top fighter on his best day but I can't support him as a fan.

Was never on it. Each time I was ready to be on board with the guy he's contrived to behave like a moron. Looking forward to him being permanently retired so boxing can move on.
Arr!!! so laddy despite the fine singing voice? The dual identity of Batman... :?!: You were never sold on the Gypsy King? :lol1:
When Fury came up, I loved the idea that he had been brought along the old fashioned way. He always had incredible range, could throw all punches well, had that polish so many amatuers lack, and was one of the few modern heavyweights that could fight well off the back foot. fury was also coachable, able to fight in more than one style... and seemed to deliver on big fights.
But what I see now bothers me, hence I am on the fence but tending towards disowning the Gypsy King. Taking Saudi money for shiat fights shows how little he values legacy. He just is not doing what lewis and even Klitsko (to a much smaller degree) did. Vlad at least fought his mandatories. Fury should have cleaned the division out and leave the exhibitions for when he retires. I am disenchanted with him.
