The new WBC world champ Francis Ngannou says he won't be ready to fight AJ in December. And it seems that he's not too interested in the AJ fight, but is instead focused on fighting Fury next. Sounds like he's still unaware that Usyk vs Fury is a 2-fight deal which means Fury probably won't be available for a fight until 2025. Although I think the chances are Fury may never rematch Ngannou. Because of the risk of losing to a novice pro boxer again. Instead, my guess is he'll have 2 fights with AJ, whatever the outcome of the Usyk dilogy.

My.instincts tell me Francis needs a few wins under belt before a fury rematch. If Francis can't win, then fury s performance against francis ages even worse than it already does.
BUt also, then no longer for fury to even rematch francis
Everyone got screwed financially but those two bozos. Send him to Nigeria and let AJ put an end to this nonsense Fury created. The problem is, I don't think AJ is really interested in circus fights. That leaves the Clown Bomber in Bama. Sure he'll just at the easy payday and KO. Already sick of the Ngannou character. All that fraud is Fury's fault!
Francis is a quick leaner.
He's only been a boxer for 5 minutes and he's already learned that, in the modern day heavyweight division, ducking and swerving fights is as important as fighting!
He should definitely pursue the AJ fight.
Femi batters him and ends the hype train.
Ngannou will be feasting on shot british bum and Saudi boxing ambassador Chisora on the Usyk v Fury undercard. :boxing:
Ngannou definitely showed that he is better than what everyone expected...both in terms of power and skills. But let's make no mistake, he ain't a skilled boxer overnight and ain't outboxing any of the top guys. As soon as he loses, his stock drops.
He is betting on going back to fight a few MMA guys demanding a better purse and then doing 1 or 2 boxing matches when he gets more Saudi money. I do not see him starting a whole boxing career at this age.
An AJ fight would be his best option imo in terms of risk/reward. Its a huge name, huge payday, considered elite and hes a guy thats potentially vulnerable to a puncher. When you're 37 and probably have a very limited time to work with its an obvious fight to be going after.
I heard Del Boy mentioned as a potential opponent as well and thats the complete opposite, a journeyman who can on a good day give you some serious problems and who you wont get much credit if you beat anyway.
He should definitely pursue the AJ fight.
He's been studying Fury's style for such a long time so that's probably why he's confident he'll beat him again. If he loses to AJ though, then the Fury rematch is probably gone forever. Although I think Fury will swerve that rematch no matter what.
doubt the saudis stump up another 60 mil for these guys but who knows i guess with them
Might depend on the outcome of the 2 fights with Usyk. Fury's stock drops even further if he lost those too so the Ngannou vs Fury rematch loses value. There's also a chance that Ngannou has other boxing matches but actually loses for real by 2025. In which case, that would probably completely kill his hopes for the rematch.
This see how good he is against joshua….my bet is joshua takes him out quite comfortably.
fury will not fight him again and my bet is he walks away from the usyk fight and the boxing ring
