Couple of points. fury is still the best heavyweight in the world. Fury didn’t take this fight seriously and he almost got tripped up. Francis is a world-class athlete and with better training could probably beat half of the top 10 heavyweights. Usyk still doesn’t beat fury.
Fury is 35 years old and he doesn't look after himself physically - he is very fit and has good cardio but dedicated he is not. So we shouldn't expect him to have massive longevity as a pro boxer - he's most likely past his best years in terms of physical prime and that's before we even take into account the damage he has taken in his career esp. in the Wilder trilogy.
Now Franny Ngannou - on that performance he is at worse a top twenty heavyweight in the world. And with a couple more camps with a world class trainer he should definitely have upside.
Who definitely beats him? I've got Usyk and Sanchez that's it. Who most likely beats him? Joshua, Zhang, Wilder, Anderson, Hgrovic,
Who've you got between Francis an Wardley - I reckon the odds would be very competitive.
Fury shoulda rag dolled him this time even with a shltty camp. He's a danm embarrassment
What’s a fughin embarrassment is this fughin post
Hahahahahahahahaaa
Come on lad do you honestly think fury is in that shape after 14 weeks? Be honestly with yourself now.
The truth is he probably spent six weeks training, and most of that was probably eating because he thought he was going to wipe this guy out. What he didn’t count on is the opponent is the greatest heavyweight in MMA history and a world-class athlete. Even with all of that fury won the fight. Close but he won and 50 years from now all people will know is he won a close fight but won regardless.
Ngannou is far from the greatest in MMA, but is a good fighter, not a novice for sure.
Fury at his worst won against Francis at his best. It was a shameful performance for the boxer, but it's his fault.
Bit unfair to Gane when is ranked the #1 hw contender in mma and his 2 losses is to Francis and the atg p4p Bones. Francis from 2019 on beat 4 current or former world hw champs all at or near prime. You just don’t do that if you’re not considered at least top 3 atg hw and I’m really selling the lad short there saying 2 people could possibly be above him.
Cain and JDS were close to a decade past their career peaks and were an absolute shell of themselves. Stipe beat Ngannou pretty easily the first time, then spent the next 3 years fighting once a year against the same guy, and was 39 at the time of the rematch, and hasnt fought again since. Gane win was good but then Jon Jones came and beat Gane in like a minute not all that long after.
Resume wise i'd put at least Fedor, Nog and Stipe ahead of him.
Ability wise, hes the biggest puncher in MMA history and a top 3 all time stand up threat, but as an overall MMA fighter hes pretty one dimensional. Prime for prime head to head put him against Jones, Fedor, DC, Cain, JDS, Werdum, Mir, Brock, Stipe, Reem, Barnett, Nog and hes definitely losing several of those fights. The two new guys who have been making waves recently (Pavlovich and Aspinall) could have been interesting fights for him too. Pav has been looking like a white Ngannou.
I don`t give a damn how much he trained. If he is unprofessional, that is his problem not mine. UFC guy exposed him.
Exposed his lack of training yes but the clear effective punches came from Fury which is why he won. If Francis doesn’t get the Kd then no one would be saying robbery. It was a fairly flash Kd that fooled people into thinking this was a close fight. No sane person gives him more than 4 rounds. Now winning four rounds against the best heavyweight in boxing. That’s a pretty big achievement.
Fair enough he probably did embarrass the sport. He still didn’t lose that’s the only positive for him but I would agree he should’ve performed better. It was more or less a glorified exhibition for him, and I think his mindset was just that. If they ever do rematch, I think he comes in a lot better and wins a wide decision, or possibly stops Francis. Fury tends to take a lot of opponents lightly because he is the best heavyweight of this era and eventually that will trip him up, unless he retires first.
It would've been better if he lost, because now our 'best' HW robbed a novice , even though tyson looked like the novice.
Lol what the **** no he isnt.

His last MMA fight.
The idiot literally said in the post fight interview he had a 14 week training camp. (I could be wrong on how long exactly but he had a training camp). He lost to a fvkcing mma fighter making his debut. He embarrassed himself, the sport and the fans.
He said 12-week camp before the fight. See how his story is changing. Rematch in the making and you are believing every bit of the lies coming out of his mouth. He had a fat camp. MMA guy is big and durable (take a punch) with better than avg boxing experience vs. the other MMA guys we have seen in the ring. Full camp, Fury rag dolls him and the same people saying this guy is legit contender will be crying.
My point still stands. He embarrassed himself the sport and the fans. He's an irritating bumbling buffoon
