I want to see the fight in Vegas, so what do I do as a fan knowing it can't happen there?
I don't have any dog in the fight, but can I blame Wilder and Finkel, who are based in the US?
Just like massive haters of AJ and Hearn blaming them for not seeing the fight get made?
Let's not act like tiny little kids even for just 3 minutes and act like normal adults. What's the answer?
That's a good question. Wilder fans blame AJ/Hearn, yet pro-AJ's can't blame Finkel, who is the main architect of what transpired in the DAZN negotiations.

It's now confirmed Eddie Hearn is reading comments from this site.
Rumble In The Jungle II? Hearn Wants To Stage Ngannou vs. Joshua In Africa
https://www.boxingscene.com/rumble-jungle-ii-hearn-wants-stage-ngannou-vs-joshua-africa--178900
I made this thread because I got tired of this Saudi Arabia thing; Why can't Wilder/Joshua be made without the oil money? Is there really no chance at all of ever trying to make it in either UK or the US? How much money do they really want?
But then a poster commented, they want it in a neutral venue just to downplay the greed. (You know, fans are happy seeing their idols amass fortune, while the rest gets peanuts. They're very caring of their idols). So then this is the result. You want a neutral venue? Why not in China where HW boxing is gaining popularity because of Zhang; why not in Germany, Poland, Mexico, etc.? What about Africa where it's as neutral venue as it can be for both fighters?
Bro, no one is stopping Wilder from taking any other fight. He can do the same.
I don't think Wilder's that motivated for boxing anymore unless it is a big-money fight. The guy looks semi-retired or else he would have fought more by now. At one time, he was contemplating whether to return or not at all.
I would love that.
I said some years ago that boxing needs more exotic locations like Africa, Jamaica, Tokyo, Rio, etc . . .
It used to be part of the allure of the sport.
Before (or after, I don't remember) AJ fought Franklin, I made a similar comment about AJ fighting Bakole in the Congo. It isn't realistic, but it would definitely be an absolute spectacle.
I don't know what they deserve but obviously they want tens of millions because there's nothing stopping them putting it on in Wembley where they could easily make 10 or 15 million each , there's no way that isn't a huge Wembley fight, even if both have had losses and are not champions
so you would have to say they're expecting upwards of 20 or 30 million because that's the kind of money they would have expected from Saudi and they don't seem interested in putting it on anywhere else for less money
so if you're considering Wembley doesn't seem appealing for them and that could bring at least 10 million each, then I think you can guess the kind of money then want...
This is exactly the kinds of posts fans should be posting. Not fault-finding crap other people want to focus on.
So Wembley in the UK. Any other suggestions?
For Ali vs Foremen, Kinshasa put up a site fee and it wasn't because of some African love that they went there. That is what they are looking for. If they really want to do it, do it at Wembley or Vegas but they won't. Eddie has already set his sights on a belt soon becoming vacant and AJ can fight some bum to snatch it. So, all this Wlider-Joshua talk is simply to keep AJ's name alive until he can fight some low level opponent again.

How much do they want? How much do each deserves in the fight, just an estimate?

And who is gonna put up the tens of million both want?
Zaire hasnt existed as a country since the 90s by the way...

I made this thread because I was asking in another thread why the fight has to happen in Saudi Arabia. Why not in the US or the UK? One poster replied they want a neutral venue. He didn't mention anything about the money part, it's the venue he mentioned. So now I'm waiting for that poster to respond in this thread. (I saved that thread, so I know who you are.)
Your idea of staging this fight is Africa, is great.
If you check recent posts, I think this match up needs more passion and a theme 'Boxing is show business, not just a sport of business venture'.
In this modern era, I don't think promoters are as creative compared to past era's.
Note: There are many locations around the World were this fight can be staged 'But to be honest, I don't think the actual match up has that much depth or passion beyond being a business opportunity for both fighters. That is how from what I can see? They are treated the fight. Ali vs Frazier, Wilder vs Fury, Bowe vs Holyfield, these fights were not just business opportunities 'They were competitive passionate rivalries' etc
