This is my entire point. So called fight fans like to criticize a fighter, yet, not put other fighters under that same exact microscope. People expect more from Nelo :boxing:

No. I want Arum and Beterbiev to get some balls and fight Bivol. jake, I have NEVER (other than James Toney) known personally a fighter with less concern for an opponent than Artur. That man is BEYOND fearless. This fight not happening yet has absolutely nothing to do with Artur personally. I guarantee you and assure you of that 100%.

There will always be excuses, some reasons legitimate and some exaggerated, t's just the nature of the beast - if Crawford beats Boots, Boots was too green. If Boots beats Bud, Bud was past his prime. Yea, the goal post moves according to the "Man" they cheer for. I agree.

Dunno about the others, but Thurman received an offer to fight Ennis that he turned down... Thurman would rather run his mouth than fight. He's turned down several fights at this point. It wasn't an official offer. The Boots camp tried to address Thurman, but when Thurman said "send the contract" they got silent except on social media..... Even some of Boots's ignorant fans were verbally attacking Thurman at a fight this summer in which he checked them and let them know that "I do this... You just watch it"...... Thurman is a proven warrior. I'll never understand nor agree with fans trying to belittle his worth to the sport simply because it's been a while since we have seen him at his best. He definitely knows how to sell tickets. And he's worth every part of the $2-$5M he gets paid for his fights. There's nothing that Boots has done that Thurman hasn't done already. Only these NEW AGE fans are giving guys like Jaron Ennis more clout than they are giving guys like Keith Thurman.

He would most likely do what the fans/followers of all of Crawford's other opponents do....come up with an excuse on how Crawford was able to dismantle their favorite man and make it look easy. Look at all the crying we are seeing from the Spence followers.......Crawford now apparently is juicing, laced his gloves (wraps), Spence was drained, Spence a broken rib, the car accident took too much out of him, he isn't fully recovered from the eye surgery, etc...... Boots's followers go to war over this guy's worth to the sport and he has yet to face anyone who will ever sniff a world title in the division he claims he's elite in. The only thing that makes Boots relevant in the division is the fact that he keeps mentioning Crawford (& Spence's) name. The opponents he's facing, he's expected to do what he does to them, thus proving, he isn't challenging himself to prove he's more worth of a title shot that anyone else ranked in the division trying to get the same thing. Claiming everyone is "avoiding" him is their "go-to" excuse to justify his resume......yet not one of them have mention exactly who it is that they reached out to and that opponent declined.........Because we've heard other prospects/contenders openly say they are interest in a fight vs him and yet..................
