What would the betting odds for a Canelo vs Crawford fight at 168 be??
Does a Canelo vs Crawford fight at 168 do 1.5 million PPV Buys???
All thoughts on Canelo vs Crawford post.
What do you think of the fight???
You’re right in that it is a silly fight, and unnecessary. Canelo needs to fight Benavidez in 2024. The only other fighter Canelo would get a pass for is if he fights Munguia and I don’t see that happening in 2024 due to promotional/network ties.
With that said, the fight can easily go from “silly” to legendary, ATG-making for Crawford is he wins. That intrigue being there would interest a lot of fans of the sport. Especially those who just hate Canelo, even if they aren’t necessarily Crawford fans.
But yeah, Benavidez is with PBC, so is Canelo. There’s really no excuse to not fight him in 2024. Crawford would be a weird selection. In the meantime, while waiting for official fight announcements, some fans like to keep the excitement going by trying out quick betting games or exploring odds on platforms like https://mostbetbd.asia. It’s a fun way to stay engaged with the sport without missing any of the hype.
I agree with you—this fight really should happen in 2024. Benavidez makes the most sense for Canelo given the promotional alignment with PBC, and it avoids the messy negotiations that would come with someone like Crawford.
I also see your point about the potential hype. Even though some fans see it as a “silly” matchup, there’s definitely room for it to become a big, memorable fight, especially if Crawford somehow ends up in the mix down the line. But realistically, Benavidez is the logical and simplest choice—no excuses, and it would give fans a solid, competitive matchup to look forward to.
I was curious about alternative betting spots and ended up using https://www.trustpilot.com/review/casinos-not-on-gam-stop.info to check out reviews. Some of those sites aren't limited like the usual ones, so they offer more lines and props, especially on big crossover fights like this. Just gotta make sure the one you're using is actually reliable—some feedback on there goes into detail about payout speed and odds, which helped.
Well, almost a year has passed and the fight never happened. There was a lot of talk but in the end nothing came of it. Canelo beat Berlanga in 2024, it wasn’t the most spectacular fight but a win is a win, and Crawford took apart Spence and is now the undisputed champ at welterweight.
And you know why the Canelo vs Crawford fight never happened? Because the Saudis dropped a suitcase full of cash and said, ‘Bro, here’s Skull, go fight him.’ Meanwhile, they probably told Crawford, ‘Sit tight, maybe something will happen in September’. At this point the main boxing promoter isn’t PBC or Top Rank, it’s Saudi Arabia.
It would be great if athletes had more autonomy in their choices and couldn’t just be bought out like this. This was a fight a lot of people were waiting for. But in modern sports money talks. If you want to be backed by a clothing brand or even a Saudi fund, your team needs to work on your image for years, build the right connections and push PR. But there is another option which is turning to gamb ling company sponsorships.
On one hand it might seem unethical. But on the other it gives athletes more autonomy. And honestly these sponsorships bring in more money and fewer risks compared to deals with clothing brands. For example, I saw on another forum that some legal casinos, like the ones listed https://casinosanalyzer.com/online-casinos/sweepstakes , finance sports events in their countries.
Again there are ethical concerns but let’s be real, athletes no matter the sport are now extremely dependent on their media image and the messages they put out. One wrong comment and their deal with Nike or Adidas is gone. Honestly I would like to see that change. Sports should be about skill, endurance and competition, not about who said the wrong thing and doesn’t fit the perfect ambassador profile.
agree with you

Crawford is a scary talent and if light heavyweights have jumped to hw, Crawford could go up against Canelo. Cáñelos not a particularly big 168 and at welter you spar super middleweight all the time.
crawford like charlo are live dogs.
If you're referring to Jones-Ruiz, lets keep in mind that Ruiz was one of the worst hw champs in 100 years. A guy that Tua demolished in 30 seconds. Cant really compare that to where Canelo ranks at super middle......
Uh.. Canelo would be a 15-1 favorite, and PPVs I'd assume 400-700k. Canelo hasn't sniffed 1m PPVs since GGG. He did 400k vs Bivol and something like 600kish vs Berlanga?
It's delusional to think PPVs are still being bought in massive numbers. 100K itself is hard to achieve in this day and age of internet mass cheating, let alone 400,000 to 700,000. People need to change this gullible mentality of always believing everything that is put out there. Why do you think HBO and Showtime left? What you see reported are fake numbers. Ask Dana Whyte and he'll tell you it's hard to even sell 10K. And his PPVs are a lot cheaper.

As for the odds, it's free money. There are 3 weight classes between them, and on of that folks forget that Crawford is actually older than Canelo by 3 years. Dude's 37.
Still holding on to this notion that people are still buying PPV in massive numbers, eh? I see. What a stupid, backward notion.
You take a survey ask them if they're buying PPVs they won't answer. Meaning, they don't. And they still expect massive PPV numbers. I see.
why are people entertaining this silly ****. If this fight happens, I'd easily bet $4k on Canelo to win $400. it's easy money

You mean Mell, right? Dumb ass comment.
You saw Mell come there for a pay cheque and to survive only.
Yeah I gave Charlo more credit to what was a pitiful
performance. I’m a huge Canelo fan though so
you just think you talking to a Canelo hater, not at all. Just a true fight fan that still feels Crawford is a live dog.
I actually like Crawford in this fight. I completely understand weight classes, but I'm also looking at this from where I believe Canelo is right now (passed Prime, less active in the ring, a bit slower at 168lbs). Also adding, he hasn't stopped anyone since the Plant fight (also, didn't he have hand surgery?) and even in that fight he was just looking for a HR hit. He can't fight Crawford that way and even him moving up he's going to be making Canelo think a lot more than he's used to at this stage. If the plan is for Canelo to try wait for a HR hit on Crawford and not expect him to give Canelo movement and set traps all night, people may be in for a big surprise. Risky fight for both guys IMO.

My thoughts are getting tired of all these Canelo Bud questions and posts when this fight will never happen. Canelo and PBC have their plan set for 2023/24. Bud likely has Spence rematch and then belt at 154
