Andy Ruiz Jr has called out Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua to offer as a replacement for Dillian Whyte. He's in shape and ready to fight AJ on August 12. Not sure AJ will go anywhere near Andy Ruiz after his nightmare in MSG. I am not sure Anthony Joshua will like to fight anyone who has a chance. He was fighting Dillian because he knew he could beat him easily as he had already done so and the difference between them is even more now.
I think this could be a very good fight and be actually worth the PPV.
I don't get this one at all as he turned down a title shot with Fury and now wants table scraps from Joshua?
He would have made at least as much with Fury. Yes the Joshua fight is more winnable if he had time but this is no training camp just fly over to London and put on the gloves and fight.
Let's not kid ourselves. Fury was never really on the table. If Fury was looking to fight a legitimate boxer then he could have found one.
Earnings and credibility for fighting Joshua certainly aren't table scraps. It would be a very sellable fight.

Whatever Whyte was getting? Seems like that or nothing would be the correct answer.
That would be fair. I I was just wondering because judging by his negotiations with Wilder and Fury, he seems to have quite high demands.
AJ/Ruiz 3 is a vastly superior fight to AJ/Whyte 2.
Doubt we will see it though, Joshua would be fucking nuts to make the same mistake twice. Honestly it wouldnt be a good idea for him to fight on that date at all.
What shape?
.
His natural blubbler shape.
But he's a lot slimmer than he was for the second AJ fight. Ruiz weighed around 280lbs for the second AJ fight and close to 256 lbs for the Arreola fight. He has further trimmed his weight so he should be in the 248-254 range.
He's in shape

I actually think if Ruiz is serious this would be a good fight for Joshua.
Ruiz is highly ranked. It's a trilogy. A great narrative with Ruiz winning on short notice previously.
And Joshua knows he can outbox him comfortably to a wide decision. I couldn't see any other possible outcome.

Not PPV worthy but he does deserve a 3rd fight....... Honestly I'm not interested in it, but I'm sure someone is.
