Was there any VADA/USADA/etc testing for this big fight, or is testing a thing of the past?
I'm not trying to say any of these guys are on anything, just wondering a fight of this magnitude, why we aren't hearing about testing/who's conducting testing/if these guys are doing random testing/etc
They are both enrolled in the WBC's VADA clean boxing program; Their random testing program for the top 15 ranked contenders in each weight division. However, unlike a mandatory enrollment; The fighters have to pay to test themselves voluntarily for drug testing.
They could choose or not to choose the voluntary Olympic style random blood testing. The difference between the Clean Boxing Program and voluntary testing is that it is unpredictable.
The fighters are often unaware once a testing agency appears at their front door in order to test them. Which is a stark contrast to voluntary testing; In which a fighter knows full well in advance teste microfone webcam that they are going to be tested.
Which makes it difficult for them to pop dirty for any PED use.
Yes, there was strict drug testing in place for the highly anticipated fight between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr.. The bout, which took place during the Crawford vs. Spence, was conducted under the supervision of the Nevada State Athletic Commission along with additional anti-doping measures.
It is. Like you said if your top 15 you need to sign up for it. Otherwise get dropped out of rankings like Benn did. If your champ there is vada.
Where did you read both fighters agreed not to do vada. Ive read they both enrolled. We'll know soon enough as vada post that fighters completed it and were clean

You never know in this world of boxing when there's millions involved people will do anything to win
Thats true but if you don't know sht for real why accuse, I don't see TC refusing testing I don't see him beating HWs what reason is there to label him other than he beat Spence easy, which could all be on Spence and TC just did his thing, I want more evidence before Id accuse a man of cheating.
Social media is full of BS, the laundromat gossip has never been any different, its ironic the people that know the least talk up the BS the most.

Well...Conte said whatever, but social media appears convinced that Crawford was juiced.
I don't think he was - but quite a few people think he was.

wrong.. like i explained, up until the cut off, pac will still get tested randomly!!! so if training camp starts june 1st and the actual fight is Aug 29th, then pac will get tested randomly in june and july.
Youre an idiot, random has no cut of dates its random right up to fight time, exactly the same as Manny made Rios have it, random right up to fight time no cut of dates RANDOM all the way.
Tell me why didn't Manny want a cut of date for blood testing with Rios ?
What I'm not getting is how you don't understand how random testing works. Either it's random or it isn't. There is no in between.
When you say random "until 30 days out" that clearly means it's no longer random testing. There are no cut off dates for random testing and it would be pointless if a fighter was allowed 30 days with no testing.
Pacquiao wanted 30 days of no testing. That's not random testing. Pacquiao refused random blood testing and those are the facts.Very simple to understand no matter how delusional you choose to be.

Werent you and joseph discussing random testing?
yes, but then you quoted my post about crawford vs gamboa NOT having any drug testing at all, then you said pac vs marquez also did not have any drug testing. i proved you wrong again like always.
Technically speaking, that's not true. The WBC only does random testing for its contenders ranked in the top 15 in each weight division; Through their Clean Boxing Program.
For a particular bout; Both fighters have to volunteer to pay to do random testing on their own. It's not mandatory. However, both parties agreed not to do that for this Crawford/Spence fight.
Yet, all boxers are required to take a post-fight urine test by the commission though.
Crawford and Spence had Vada.
Also the rules from wbc:
Each of the following shall be considered or become an Eligible Boxer subject to testing under the CPB Out-of-Competition Anti-Doping Testing:
1. Any boxer who as of January 1 of each year is a WBC World Champion;
2. Any boxer who as of January 1 of each year is ranked in the top 15 in the WBC World Ratings or who throughout the year becomes ranked in the top 15 in the WBC World Ratings;
3. Any boxer who becomes eligible to challenge for a WBC World Championship bout through a WBC ruling; or
4. Any boxer who does not fall within conditions 1-3 above but who voluntarily submits to become an Eligible Boxer under these protocols.
Tyson Fury is going through Vada (see vada for confirmation) for the Ngannou fight as wbc champ even though the wbc belt is not on the line

what are you not getting???? he will still get tested randomly up until the cut off... so he will get tested randomly up until 30 days from the fight.
how will he know which day they are gonna test him? LOLOLOL.

Random testing doesn't have cut off dates. 30 days before a fight cut off date is not random testing. You can't dictate when they test you. That defeats the purpose of it. What part of that are you not understanding?
Apparently all of it :lol1::lol1::lol1:
There has to be VADA for any WBC championship fight

yes, because there was no random blood test for the 4th fight!!! wtf are you rambling on about??? you said there was NO testing at all for the marquez vs pac 4th fight... i just proved you wrong. now you changing the goal post to "random" ???? LOL!!!!
Werent you and joseph discussing random testing?
manny vs marquez 4
"Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny Pacquiao drug tests come back negative"
Steroid and other performance-enhancing drug tests given to Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao were declared negative Friday by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Did you miss this part in the article you posted:
Additionally, Nevada did not subject either fighter to any random drug tests during their two-to-four month training camp. Marquez, angered by the implications, said he is willing before his next fight to participate in random, Olympic-style drug testing with his opponent throughout training camp.
So they were negative but not tested at all during 4 month training camp. This is why you and other sore losers accused JMM of PED use.
Or did you forget that?

If it has a cut off date it's not random testing no matter how many different ways you try to spin it.
Random testing doesnt have dates. Point blank. End of story.
let's say training camp starts in June 1st and fight is in August 29th.. he will get tested randomly during the whole month of june, then randomly in july until 30 days out from the fight. so how is this not random testing???????
LOL!!

now imagine if manny didnt have any drug testing at all for his fight like crawford vs gamboa!! how bout dat!!!
But, shockingly, neither fighter was tested in any way, shape or form on Saturday night. On top of that, representatives from both the Crawford and Gamboa camps told ESPN.com that they were told they would have urine samples collected after the fight but that nobody from the commission ever came to collect them.
