Benavidez-Andrade?

In this sad era that fight has a full potential to be FOTY. I am full in. the fight between two undefeated super middleweights. What is there to not like?

Also Morrell is next up for the mandatory rotation. If Benavidez actually wanted the Canelo fight, he has had multiple opportunities to take the route that would give him a shot at Canelo. If he could have kept his belt instead of doing cocaine or missing weight, Canelo would have had to fight him to become undisputed. He could have taken Ryder's mandatory position. And now he's dropped an opportunity to take Morrell, and we know the WBC doesn't enforce its own rules. Canelo cannot be forced to fight anyone, he has previously dropped the WBC belt when forced. Waste of time trying to force him by fighting 9-0 morrell with nothing to really gain. He won't be given respect for whopping a 9-0 fighter.

Andrade is not a better pelt, his older, past his peak, and fighting above his best weightclass. Nobody cares Boo boo was a 2 division titlist. Morrell is the younger fighter and makes for the better fight. That is the fight that should be made. It will help him build his name with casuals. Just like how Tank Davis fought Cristobal Cruz, Hugo Ruiz, Hector Garcia, Leo Santa Cruz, Yuriorkis Gamboa, etc. You and I know the context behind those wins; we know they were past prime and/or well above their normal weights. But the casual boxing fan just sees five world titlists and concludes Tank must be great.

I'll believe this when I see it. -Benavidez could pop for drugs or miss weight -Andrade could pull out of the fight I don't trust either one of these two clowns until the opening bell rings.

I don't. He had to hold on for dear life against Liam Williams in like round 9 or 10. I think he's got issues with motivation. This is literally his last shot at the Canelo Golden ticket and I think it's going to show.

I'm actually very excited for this fight. A lot more probably than I should be or I would have expected to be. I give Andrade a decent shot here.

Who fights David Benavidez, but is scared of Janibek? It makes zero sense. It doesn't. If he fights Benavidez he made the right decision even if he gets beat.

It makes zero sense. He moved up to 168 to get Benavidez or Canelo & apparently has been successful. Benavidez is the better fighter & the tougher fight & the higher profile fight. He was right. And Andrade got injured before him and Parker fought and the 2nd fight, they wanted him to make less than $200,000 to fight in England. That's ridiculous. There's not an American championship fighter, who would've taken that fight.
