First off I don’t care how many ppvs this this fight sells. I don’t care so don’t use it in any argument against me. I DON’T CARE…!!!
Spence didn’t look bad, Bud made him look bad.
The greats take away what you do best. Bud not only took away Spence’s jab, he used his own battering ram of a jab. Bud stood flat footed and didn’t run and box. He stood in the pocket and traded, jabbed hard, went to the body, clinched Spence with ease showing that he was physically stronger than Spence, and either blocked or parry’d a lot of Spence’s big shots…and countered beautifully.
Spence landed some very hard shots. But, the only real shots that he landed was the over hand left. I can remember Spence landing his Sunday punch 3 times and he never wobbled Bud once. His jab didn’t really land at all. As far as the big left hand…Bud said, is that all you have?
Bud had to hear a lot of you clueless mofos overrating Spence and his power hen Bud has now stopped his last 11 guys. Nobody thought that Bud had more power than Spence on paper, but I did. The true difference was SPEED. He was just too fast for Spence. Bud had to endure blog after blog calling him a liar during the Spence negotiations, the Avenesyan thing, and who he fought at resume. Everyone gave the PBC their props for putting those fights together for Spence that they truly didn’t respect Bud or really know how good he was.
Well now you know, so go eat you CROW…!!!
And I’m glad that Spence is ok. This sport is unforgiving and has no health benefits. I love watching it though, and always pray that fighters come out of these fights with their health.
