Is anybody else picking Oscar Valdez to beat Cowboy Navarrette? I'm thinking Valdez is going to whip up a vicious KO à la Miguel Berchelt. | BoxingScene Community
Valdez is all wrong for Navarrette IMO. I think the Cowboy's going to get outboxed for a few rounds then walk into something nasty he didn't see coming. Another KO of the year award for Valdez.

I'd like to see Valdez win just to see how he'd look against O'Shaquie Foster. I have high hopes for Foster but not sure if he's on Stevenson's level. Valdez lost clearly but it was still a tough out for Stevenson none the less. Valdez brought it and tried his best.
I don't see how Navarrete can bother Foster in any kind of way though.
Navarrete whoops Foster IMO. He'd impose his will on Foster and I don't think Foster's seasoned enough to deal with that.

Navarette is going to touch Valdez a lot in this fight. It is up to Valdez to solve what works against this guy, don't know if he can adjust like that.
Valdez took a lot of hard shots from Adam Lopez in his last fight.
If Navarrete hits him at the same rate, and Valdez does not implement a better defensive strategy, I see Vaquero winning by TKO late.
I favour Valdez. He’s definitely the sharper fighter, I suspect he gets to Navarrete before Navarrete gets to him.
Will be an exciting fight for as long as it lasts regardless though. Their styles should mesh really well.
Valdez looked absolutely terrible last fight but I’m expecting a better effort this go around. Still, Im picking Navarette by tough UD in a barn burner.
