That's the thing I still see these days. You tell any casual about an upcoming boxing fight, and they still refer back to the Tyson days, lol. My thing is, if you don't have these streaming services, boxing is almost non-existent nowadays on regular cable. You basically have to SEEK it out, rather than it finding you. This is hurting the sport, since the young kids are seeking out MMA more so nowadays and the super casuals just don't care at all to try to watch something that is hard to get to (unless you rewatch fights on Youtube). Can attest to this, Mike Tyson is the only thing that comes up when talking to a non hardcore fan about boxing.

Mostly regarding, if there is a lack of success with this, it will give promoters an excuse to continue having their fighters avoid the best and risk having their marquee fighter take the "L", when they can remain undefeated and continue to fight stiffs for decent paychecks. Why the risk if there is no rewards? That is where I think this fight is going to be under a magnifying glass when it comes to promoters with their undefeated fighters and their willingness to put them in against equal opposition that can risk taking away their fighters "0". The magical "0" that comes with better paychecks and sh!t competition.
