Boy, I sure don't like the way he reacted to a super average guy like Charles Martin landing on him. Plus he looked like he was gonna cry in the locker room. I'm still rooting for him but I really don't know.... he should have gotten Martin out of there at least.
Id like to have you here at some point maybe next summer ? IDK …..stay for the weekend or week so we can train . I do weapons to ( teaching my son ) It’s all on you I’d like to see things and learn things ( yea I know we got a difference stance in old school boxing ) but it’s the application that dictates the fighter ( we agreed on that…lol ) ….I’ll send you a vid of me ( 4 ton concrete blocks …lol) .
Definitely. I am waiting on a few things... and my sons have flown lol... one to the marines, the other the army, so being an empty nestor means I can travel. I have one of my oldest relationships with a student not far from your area. WHEN I go to visit Brian I will arrainge to do some training with you. Probably going to be around the fall. I will give plenty of notice so we can meet. Still love teaching and been working on some really intresting stuff.
You can’t really compare anyone to a Mike Tyson . You were watching boxing when fighters actually fought guys for years then moved up , these posters wouldn’t make it in that era because fighters were brought along slower with no social media so if they aren’t fighting for a title within their 15th fight they are bums ? Lol
I grew up with Tuesday night fights and enjoyed watching guys come up ,today the average fans in IQ has declined ..so ?
I watched Anderson a long time now beforehand this firum even knew he was in the amateurs……I’d actually still have Sonny Conto as the future of American heavyweight guys but it’s just a guess ? Either way Anderson will on,y get better , I’m still confused how I can be on a boxing forum this long and a little hiccup negates the actual fighters ability in general…..I guess that’s why it’s boxing ? IDK ..common sense tells me he needed a fight like that but sense isn’t common i guess ?
Yeah you cannot compare for sure... Tyson was a force of nature. The fight with martin can be a positive, or a negative I guess it depends on jared.
tyson was champion for what. three years by tthe age of 23
Tyson fought more and fought much better fighters. The problem these young guys have is that they all want goose eggs and not to be exposed.Jared is smart in that he has gone for the quick path, with dispensing opponents quickly, but Tyson was fighting seasoned, technically superior fighters and was probably (time will tell) a lot more talented than Jared.
just watched the fight. Jared made a mistake a lot of young fighters make, he forgot about that thing on his shoulders that holds his brain and all. Dude is going to have to work on consistently moving his head, maintaining his angles, using his shoulders more. He did pump the jab all night but yeah, you cannot take shots like that from Martin who is chronically slow.
Jared has talent to spare, I just do not think he has the elite movement skills that some other guys have. He gets by on his jab... setting things up with it, etc. Do I believe in his ability and talent? I don't think anything can really be deduced until these guys all bang around more. There are so many things that will change and develop as more fights happen.
One thing you have to remember is that he's only 23. That's the same age King Canelo was when he lost to Floyd. Point is at that age there's no telling how far he can go in the sport. We'll have a better idea in a couple years when enters his prime.

Yeah Sanchez is the most skilled boxing in history because he beat slow Ajagba. Also neither Usyk of Fury were champions when they were 23. In any case they are hyped up because hey are white Europeans. Also who is hyping up Anderson? Lol ESPN? Most people don't know who Jared Anderson is. You act like in England they weren't hyping Tyson Fury up as being the next big thing even when he just started boxing. Lol you do realize in the USA Mexicans get put over far more than black people right? Ryan Garcia will always be more popular than Anderson because he is Mexican. Also you do realize the USA doesn't care about boxing much anymore? You do realize you can make far more money playing football or basketball. You do realize if anything Tyson Fury and Usyk are the white hopes. They are only popular because after years of black males dominating the sport they finally get a little white champion and it goes to whites heads. Black Americans don't need a black heavyweight hope. We don't care about boxing much anymore. If we cared and more black males started being heavyweights again then you wouldn't see a white champion for the next 50 years.
:lol1: ayo! WE
Been saying ever since I saw him that he needs to not get hit as much as he does by guys who shouldn't be hitting him. Flush hits at heavyweight add up pretty fast. His chin isn't awful but that's going to turn into brain damage eventually. Every boxer needs to learn that they need to be defensively responsible if they want to reach the highest levels. He's got some big gaps in his game, but the rest of his game was good enough that he didn't realize it. Hopefully now he does. Guys with big KO streaks tend to think it doesn't matter, until they learn the lesson the hard way. Sometimes that hard way comes with a loss or a knockout loss.
His career is being handled right. That was a good step up, and gave him a good lesson. How he responds in the next few fights will tell us a lot about him. If he can learn and grow, he'll likely be a champion some day. If not, he can join Berlanga at Matchroom.

I don’t ride d1cks so NO.

Everyone has a bad night , that said I hope he realizes that much work is needed
Let’s hope he big enough to work and correct his inferiorities
Wasn’t sold on him before but a little less now is how I would put it
Yeah the only bad quality you found about sanchez are his age and boring, speaks volumes about his skills.
a one sided win over Ajagba is a million times better than going life and death with a 37yo Charles Martin on short notice.
Those two you mentioned are champions and even they dont receive the same amount of hype by the media and fans like Anderson, and weren't even known during their bum of the month tour, compared to Jared who was hyped from the get go and he didn't even accomplish anything in the amateur international scene.
Yeah, now talk to me about his weak mentality, and how he was crying and he wasnt even out of his bum phase? Why wasn't he ridiculed like Ryan Garcia? Even though ryan had much more reasons to complain about his mental health and how bad it was, and is much more accomplished than anderson? Where's the Jared Crynderson nickname? This guy is pampered and for obvious reasons, he's the great American heavyweight hope, well in his case hype.

He got hurt more than once by a seasoned but average fighter. He managed to get through it, but maybe even an apparently slightly more skilled fighter like Jermaine Franklin could beat him. We'll have to see how Anderson develops further, and if he can learn to avoid left hands.
no ring generalship, pulls straight back, ineffective lazy jab, doesnt know how to throw a body punch properly, doesnt know proper foot placement, cant cut off the ring, and doesnt throw combinations.
Otherr than that he's ok........
No!

just need to slow it TF down, he is only 23 years old Top Rank and ESPECIALLY Fans don't need to rush it let the man Develop and needs a ton of work on his Defense and yes he need rounds and not just a KO Streak vs Sh^t Opponents
Please STFU about him beating AJ "Right Now" AJ would do to him what Lennox Lewis did to Michael Grant
I know some of us Americans are desperate AF for some American Heavyweights but it is going to take time, Brad Goodman and Bruce Trampler are Hall of Famers for a reason so I'm sure they will play things Safer Dial back the Competition and give him more time to just develop and work on things but that Defense better get fixed immediate or else he is going to get knocked TF out by a No Name guy who lands that big punch over the top of his Shoulder Lean Back or whatever that is
Somebody need to teach him the High Guard immediately and that you cannot just neglect Defense and Head Movement to try and get a Viral KO
Kid has a Long Long way to go and at 23 it is absolute no rush he has nothing but time especially for a Heavyweight they can easily wait until he is like 25 before another big step up and most Logic Boxing Fans would totally understand why they bringing him along slowly. Keep him TF away from Arslanbek for now until that Defense improves because Arslanbek puts him to sleep. Also keep him away from newly Signed Bakhodir Jalolov very experiences Amateurs they will Spark Jared out right now
He's young, and had issues with his first real southpaw, And Marin has a great chin, only being dropped by AJ and Ortiz.
So lets see where he goes from here.
Lol first off Sanchez is 30 years old and Anderson is 23. Second Sanchez has beat who in his career? Efe Ajaba in a boring fight were Sanchez ran. Also if you want to say Anderson is only hyped up because he is American then you can say the same thing about Usyk and Tyson Fury. They are only hyped up because they are white Europeans.
Stop it. Sanchez beat Ajagba in a very one sided fight. It is a good win.
Maybe it is time to admit that young guns are not THAT ready and that old guns are not THAT shot.
It was obviously a little big stepping stone for Anderson right now.

Never was on it, always thought sanchez was the better boxer, and this fight reassured me, but i'll still follow his career and root for him.
Regardless of what he lacks in the ring, it's okay, but what i didnt like is how he cried in that roy jones thing Top rank did about the pressureand all that, even our poster boy for mental health issues wasnt that bad.
The only reason Jared is this hyped is because of where he's from.

And Tyson Fury struggled with John McDermott earlier on in his career. Hell Tyson Fury struggled with Otto Wallin but because a 23 year old Anderson didn't knock out Charles Williams it is in end of the world now?
