He said he was so sure he won the fight that he decided to take rd 12 off and cruise. This is proof Loma might have the dumbest team in all of boxing. You're not fighting some russian guy in kiev. Some below examples of retarded moves the loma camp made. The video is around 3 minute mark starting.
1. Fighting salido in his 2nd fight and not complaining to the ref about the low blows.
2. Not putting a rematch clause in the lopez fight
3. Not taking the kambosa fight and pretending like he went to war for a PR move no one cares about. This would have been his victory as undisputed champ and given him more leverage going into haney fight. His friend Uskyk decided to fight Joshua even with the war.
4. Taking rd 12 off against haney because they thought they had it won

Didnt look like to me he took r12 off. Looks like he does not have the gas tank he once did. I scored the fight to loma but seems as though he is too small for 135 imo. He was worried about haneys strength and haneys not a puncher
No all-time great fighter should take any of the Championship rounds off.
Oscar De La Hoya did something similar vs Felix Trinidad and it was a mistake.
To be honest, De La Hoya thought he was out boxing Trinidad.
I did not think Lomachenko took round 12 off, looked like he was fighting hard in the Championship rounds 'But of course, EFFORT is a personal thing'.
Lomachenko most likely feels as if he could more effort into the round 12 etc.
Nice post my man…
de La gfishnests beat the crap outta Vargas…
hopkins took that azz
prim hagler kills de La maricon
nice post…
he said it in the post fight press conference that his corner kept telling him that he was winning every round. So he said in so many words; he thought he had the fight won and decided in the 12th round to play defense and "give him this round because i don't need to win this round". He thought he had won all the other eleven rounds. He said that was his score" uh i don't know. Maybe i don't understand boxing". Go to about 13:37 of this video. Now i have changed my mind. One can't blame vasiliy one bit for this loss. You got to blame his corner. They failed him.

exactly. Jesus fucking christ he dosen't need to come out and say hey guys i took the round off. Read between the lines. He's clearly implying he took it off. His corner are absolute morons.
i think the big controversy is that there were enough clear loma rounds that you just can't find 7 haney could have won. The judges who had it 7-5 gave haney 3 or 7, both rounds he clearly lost.

so by that standard, Mosley was robbed against Floyd.
you must lack a whole lot of reading comprehension buddy. first and foremost I mentioned I had it a draw, and would have no problem with 7-5 for Haney card or vice versa for Loma.
and I also mentioned that Loma was putting the hurt business on Haney in rounds 10 and 11 which could have led to a possible KD or whatever had he pushed hard enough.
you corrected me and said there was no chance for a stoppage for those rounds... so I replied the "no chance" term should be for Haney KOing Loma, that's what no chance for a stoppage looked like since at least Loma had Haney staggering, so there's was a chance there, no matter how small while Haney never did anything close to that.
lastly, I said IF the winner is who hurt who more, then that would be Loma. I put IF there as a hypothetical statement, meaning in fantasy, I didn't say that should be a basis for who won.
but since you lacked comprehension I had to explain it the long way like you're 8 years old.
We can both agree though that he definitely hurt haney and got him staggering around. No chance of a stoppage was Haney to Loma, he never wobbled loma or stunned him a bit.
If the winner of that fight is who hurt who more, then the fight goes to loma. Lol

he was never close to finihsing Haney. By the end of the 11th round with 30 seconds left, haney was backing up lomachenko. haha. Loma without a doubt still won the round, but there was no chance of a stoppage. He wasn't fighting Nakatani or Linares.

It doesn't matter if they saw Loma winning. I don't care. The fight was so highly skilled, competitive and hotly contested that one can make a case for either man winning. I wouldn't have had a problem if Loma won because the fight was just that super close.
My only problem is with the selective outrage. Just because one judge's scorecard was off by a single point from the other judges scorecards; Now all of the sudden the fight is a robbery? Give me a freaking break! We all know that the system is broken but why do you wish to reform it now?
Is it because Lomachenko is a white boxer? Had Loma won you same fake boxing fans and hypocrites wouldn't have complained about a robbery or a broken system but since you didn't like the outcome, now you want to cry me river? Get over it! Haney won the fight. The judges got it right this time.
I never said it was a robbery, just a bad decision. If you think Haney won, which rounds did you give him? The scoring system is an absolute joke. Even if you thought Haney won more rounds, Loma clearly got the better of Haney overall and did more damage to him. You acknowledge that the system is broken, but still don't feel the need to change it. Why is that?
With regard to your selective outrage comment, what are you talking about? In nearly every marquee fight that goes to decision fans on the losing side cry robbery and corruption. Haney fans would be crying the same thing, even though he genuinely did get beat. No racial aspect to it at all. All boxing fans - black, white or orange think that boxing is corrupt when their fighter loses.
I your fighter's own words upset you, please don't blame me
Haney won the fight. He successfully defended and retained his undisputed titles against Vasiliy Lomachenko. So why on earth would his words hurt or upset me? :lol1:
Lomachenko absolutely has to take blame for letting his foot off the gas in that last round, but, even so, and even if we all acknowledge that the fight was close and competitive, vritually NOBODY saw Haney as the winner. That means something. Most people saw Lomachenko winning more rounds and EVERYBODY (even the Haney's) know who won their rounds more convincingly. This is not sour grapes. It's entirely justified frustration. IMO, the issue has more to do with the nonsense scoring system than any bias or corruption, but I still feel that it was a bad decision. What Loma is saying here is practically and basically the very same thing what he is saying to Elie Seckbach in his video; That he gave the 12th round away because he felt he didn't need it to win.
However, Seckbach's video goes one further. He said after rewatching the fight himself; He can justify himself winning only 7 out of those 12 rounds. Which hardly sounds like a robbery to me.
So it appears that Loma needed to win that 12th round after all. It was a very razor thin close fight. This was not some dominating performance by Vasiliy; Like so many of you fake, lying and hypocritical Lomosexual fans would try to lead us to believe.
So you guys are just a bunch of angry sore losers because your man lost and didn't receive the outcome you wanted.

nothing
to be fair, both fighters and a big majority of those watching thought the same.

After the fight both fighters knew who deserved the win as did most everyone who saw the fight. This is Haney after the 9th, Haney took a shellacking in the 10th and 11th as well.

If you are going to quote a man, then quote him. Do not fabricate things he did not say.
Loma said that if you gave Haney thr 12th round, then fine; he did not need that round to win. Thatâs what he said. He did not say he took off that round.
Yet you gave that round to Loma and scored the fight 9-3.
lmfao. You should be embarrassed.
At what point in the video does Loma admit to havng taken off Rd 12? He doesn't. Loma simply acknowledges that many fans say he lost Rd12 and says "okay, maybe, but I didn't need the 12th round to win the fight." I didn't hear him admit to taking that round or any other round off. Nothing of the kind. Having said that, I do agree that he should have pressed more in Rd11 to maybe get a KD or KO, and that he should have pressed harder in R12 to build on the momentum of the previous 3 rounds and finish strong. I tend to think most people who gave Haney the last round did so more because of the change in momentum than the fact that it was a clear round for Haney. He said it in the post fight press conference that his corner kept telling him that he was winning every round. So he said in so many words; He thought he had the fight won and decided in the 12th round to play defense and "give him this round because I don't need to win this round".
