Didnt look like to me he took r12 off. Looks like he does not have the gas tank he once did. I scored the fight to loma but seems as though he is too small for 135 imo. He was worried about haneys strength and haneys not a puncher

No all-time great fighter should take any of the Championship rounds off. Oscar De La Hoya did something similar vs Felix Trinidad and it was a mistake. To be honest, De La Hoya thought he was out boxing Trinidad. If you are going to quote a man, then quote him. Do not fabricate things he did not say. Loma said that if you gave Haney thr 12th round, then fine; he did not need that round to win. At what point in the video does Loma admit to havng taken off Rd 12? He doesn't. Loma simply acknowledges that many fans say he lost Rd12 and says "okay, maybe, but I didn't need the 12th round to win the fight." I didn't hear him admit to taking that round or any other round off. Nothing of the kind. Having said that, I do agree that he should have pressed more in Rd11 to maybe get a KD or KO, and that he should have pressed harder in R12 to build on the momentum of the previous 3 rounds and finish strong.
