After the very slim victory over Lomachenko, Who do you think is next for Haney?
I HIGHLY doubt it will be Shakur or Tank, so we can write them off for now IMHO. (Wonder why Haney walked off the ring when Shakur was right there to faceoff with him)
If he moves up to '40, it will be a light touch. If he stays at '35, maybe a name along the lines of Denys Berinchyk, William Zepeda, or Gustavo Daniel Lemos
What do you think is next for Haney?
Seriously I think 140 is one of the toughest divisions in boxing. Taylor, Catterall, Prograis, Zepeda, Ramirez, Russell, Matias, there are just no easy outs. I do think Haney beats Lopez but what are the chances Lopez beats Taylor?
The thing here, IF Teo beats Taylor, I do not see Teo choosing to fight Haney.
Teo seems too inconsistent to fight someone like Haney which he should but....
Haney has gambled on himself and not resigned with Top Rank…. I’m sure there were offers made before the fight in case he won.
but now that he has all the belts and is three fights deep on ESPN, he will have a LOT of leverage wherever he goes.
Very good point man.
Haney has gambled on himself most, if not all, of his career. He operated in Devin Haney Promotions and whoever offers deals that befit him he chooses.
So as far as gambling on himself he always does.
But yeah he has a lot of leverage wherever he goes definitely with his undisputed rep.
move up to 140 and hang onto the 0 as long as possible, normally moving up is considered a challenge but its an easier division
I wouldn't say much easier though, there are some challenging fighters at '40.
Haney will stay under the TR umbrella and take a lesser foe and then try to make a fight with one of the top TR fighters around the weight.
There will be no Tank or Shakur fight anytime soon.

I'd like to see a rematch. With the controversy over the first fight and the fact it was a pretty good fight on it's own merit, I think a rematch would do big numbers.
I keep hearing the same thing, that Shakur and Tank beat Haney but I'm not convinced.
I am one who is quite confident that Shakur and Tank can beat Haney.
I think Haney is reluctant on fighting them anytime soon.
But yeah a rematch with Loma would be best but I also think Haney wouldn't want that rematch
No doubt he resigned with Top Rank, that’s why he got that gift. Assuming he stays at 35 then Haney needs a Loma rematch to clear his name if the super fight with Tank can’t happen. Shakur is too dangerous, they know he’ll get embarrassed.
Not so sure he resigned though.
It hasn't been said he resigned.
Catterall or if he re signs with TR, the Teo v Taylor winner.
Catterall is a possibility that's true. I forgot all about that guy.
We'll see if he resigns with TR, Bob doesn't seem so interested in Haney anymore, hey I can be wrong though.

- - Loma and fans shamed he and he crack daddy. All down hill no matter as nobody wants to see a shamed runner/stinker/floater/sinker.
Maybe exhibition with l'l floydy and he crack daddy...:hitit:

Taylor and Catterall, two more southpaws but both about his own size. I don't now how eager Haney would be for that. If Teo somehow wins though, I could see Haney's eyes light up with the prospect of that match.

I reckon he goes to 140. He maybe stays at 135 for the Tank payday, no chance he’ll fight Shakur.
I doubt Tank is next man. Hope I am wrong but really doubt that's next.
