JoJo Diaz is a featherweight who ate his way up to lightweight. He had no power at 126 and certainly not at 135. And he had a history of shelling up behind a guard and not throwing for minutes at a time (look at the Russell fight). Yet despite all of that, when Haney fought him, Diaz hit him repeatedly with left hands, had him along the ropes most of the fight, hurt or at least stunned Haney a few times, and won 3 or 4 rounds. So if Haney is such a master boxer, why couldn't he keep JoJo off? And if he couldn't keep JoJo off of him, how will he deal with the pressure Lomachenko brings?
Predicting a 8-4, 9-3 Haney victory is basically saying that Lomachenko now can't attack Haney any better than Diaz did. Seems odd to me. Remember, Haney has only fought Kambosos since that fight. Do people really think that the same Haney who had a really rough time with JoJo can beat Loma? Styles make fights, and Lomachenko brings everything JoJo brought to trouble Haney and more.

Haney tore his ass up! Diaz didn't so much as remotely come close to winning that fight. You know why? It was because he didn't take enough risks in order to do so that's why. He was afraid of taking an ass whupping!
So what if Haney got touched up a bit but look who still won the fight. That's been the problem with all of Haney's opponents. None of them have been willing to take enough risks or just simply refuse to try to win the fight.
Which is why he has never been seriously threatened or challenged in the ring. I expect the very same thing to happen to Loma.
Sure, he may have his moments from time to time but he is still not going to win unless he's able to get himself on the inside and force Haney to a firefight.
I really don’t know why people are sleeping on Lomachenko? Age won’t be a factor like people are saying, if anything the way Haney stands is all wrong when fighting someone like Lomachenko. Unless Lomachenko allows Haney to tie him up all night long which is highly unlikely because Loma is good at breaking up clinches and he also knows how to get rough when needed won’t help Haney. Haney is going to have a hard time dealing with Lomas footwork and specially with those short punches on the inside that he likes to throw
Yeah, Haney hasn't exactly been a big mover in recent fights.

Yeah Haney looked like crap lol. I’m really shocked how overrated he’s become. Good fighter but no pop and a resume with a few B level guys. Props if he bears Loma no controversy but I just see it with this guy.
He dominated Kambosos, but Kambosos was getting outjabbed by old Mickey Bey. I'm just trying to understand when Haney suddenly became this master boxer. He certainly wasn't against Diaz.
