It's crazy how nobody is showing interest in this Haney vs Loma fight

Friend, the fight between two skilled boxers is never a foregone conclusion, at least until the two combatants actually enter the ring. Therefore, it is an interesting fight that both intrigues and inspires me. Many of us may form an opinion of which boxer is possibly more likely to win, but there is no way to predict the actual outcome of the fight with any certainty. In many of our minds, the younger boxer, Devin Haney, may be statistically more likely to take the day, but that can never be definitely said until the fight is finished and we know who actually won. The younger Haney may be more capable and have the more explosive arsenal of skills in his tool belt, yet even the slightest misstep can lead to defeat. The older Lomachenko may possess more ringcraft and experience, but that doesn't guarantee that his skill and conditioning will hold up once the bell rings. Each will need to work hard to prove to themselves and the crowd watching the fight that they are the better boxer, and it will be up to the judges to decide who truly has the more impressive skills and wins the fight. May the best man win.

Haney is not a household name, to say the least And has a 50% K0 rate If he beats Loma into retirement, he would have made a name for himself.

They're not that popular. I went to hooters and people rarely go to see boxing but it was packed that day with casuals .they didn't even know who morrell was. Ryan could've been a bonafide star but he blew it . Oh well but this definitely a must watch . There was no blowing it involved, he clearly decided the payday was enough and quit. People don't get up from bodyshots right at the count of 10 not wincing in pain if it was legitimate. There were questions about his commitment and mentality going into that fight, those questions were answered. Ryan is more interested in being a social media influencer than a fighter.

Boxing is marketed towards casuals, not actual fans. Whenever a PPV is made with a card "for fans" it bombs. Ward/Kovalev & Crawford/Postol come to mind.

it's not crazy, this is a fight for boxing hardcore fans not a fight for casuals or event bandwagoners. Haney is known for dominating but not risking getting a KO and Loma doesn't have enough demographics and even though has good number of stoppages is not a one punch KO artist. Loma doesn't speak English well and even if he did he would not be a trash talker and Haney is not good at trash talk either. What exactly about this fight is supposed to bring out the masses?

Loma and Haney would both have beaten Ryan's and Tank's ass We've yet to see enough out of Haney and Tank to be declaring winners. We'll know when we know. Garcia and Tank beat the brakes off Loma. If he's struggling with bums like Ortiz there's no way he can keep up with either. His days as a top fighter are over. The fact is when you have Loma saying he's washed, and you have Haney saying Loma is washed, it's not a big fight. Neither of those guys have done a great job promoting the bout.

These are two quality opponents that deserve more clout and fame for what they will be displaying on Saturday night. But, people don't know what they are looking at.
