19 pro fights , 16 WT fights, 3 division titles going for undisputed in 4th weightclass.
Thats one hell of an accomplishment, and if he beats Haney then Loma gotta be the lowest-fight best run in history, might be already.
Who did I lie about?
Claiming that Shane Mosley was shot when Mayweather fought him is a blatant lie. Mosley was coming off maybe the most impressive win of his career and was ranked in the top 10 p4p. Trying to spin it as if he was shot going into that fight is false.
That's just one of your lies.
Right, by the sanctioning bodies.
I'm not talking about Top 5 in the sanctioning bodies, I'm talking about Top 5 overall (The Ring Magazine etc)
But I just checked and both were in the Top 5 so I stand corrected on that but even with those inclusions Floyd still beat more in just that 8 year period you referred to alone.
Okay. Fair enough.
That is literally all this is and has ever been.
Pacquaio fans gravitating to Loma and comparing him to Floyd and hating on all the new gen associated with him.
Weirdos.
There is no comparison to be had.
Floyd accomplished 10 times more than Loma ever will and has 12-15 better wins than Loma has as a pro.
They aren't in the same realm, one wouldn't even make the HOF if it wasn't for his amateur career.
He couldn't carry Floyds jockstrap.
Let it go lol
One guy says:
Ricky Hatton - wasn't champ at 147
Floyd boy making excuses says:
Ricky Hatton was WBA Champion at 147 a year prior before returning to 140 before going back up.
So that means he was not the champ
Why can't these Floyd boys just admit the truth
Btw: What do you mean Campbell wasn’t in the top five? He was ranked #1 with the WBC. THATS A FACT. Feel free to look it up. Corolla was number one too. He was the mandatory. He was an ex champ who had worked their way to the top of the rankings.
why do you feel that you have to lie to discredit a fighter?
You do it all the time.
Ricky Hatton - wasn't champ at 147
Marquez - wasn't champ at the catchweight fight they fought
Mosley - wasn't champ at the weight they fought.
Ortiz - LOL
Cotto - ok, that's one
Guerrero LOL #2
Canelo - weight drained and green
Maidana - 1st fight was a robbery and the second fight the deck was stacked against Maidana to ensure a victory
Pacquiao - 6 years too late
Berto - LOL #3
McGregor - LOL #4
Also - Judah - had literally lost his titles to Baldomir the fight before Gayweather, so he wasn't a champ.
Flomos need to stop acting like Gayweather went to murderers row to get to his fake 50-0.
Ricky Hatton was WBA Champion at 147 a year prior before returning to 140 before going back up.
Mosley literally was the WBA WW Champion when they fought.
Ortiz was literally the WBC Champion when they fought and #2 at 147
Guererro was literally #2 at WW and #9 P4P when they fought.
Canelo was literally #1 at JMW and #9 P4P when they fought
Maidana was literally WBA WW Champion when they fought.
Pacquaio was literally #2 P4P and #1 WW when they fought.
You can put your nice opinions next to them but all of the above are literally objective facts.
No where in my post mentions Zab Judah so not sure why you've decided to randomly include Zab Judah.
Oscar came of KOing a MW when he fought Floyd, and Floyd gave him over a stone in weight on the night, now compare what you said to Manny fighting Oscar.
.
Manny beat the brakes off Oscar, Floyd didn't

you are only as good as your last fight and Shane Mosely was coming off beating the 'boogie man' Margarito to a pulp and stopping him. People always hate on Floyd's achievements because he made it look so damn easy ffs the guy whitewashed Canelo 12-0 and neutralised offensive machine Pacquaio into a glorified sparring partner
Loma can only dream of having a resume like Floyd's in the pro ranks instead he's got losses to Salido and Teo (who is currently being exposed as garbage) its not even in the same ballpark lol
So because a fighter has two losses he can't be compared to Floyd now.
Wtf is that about.
The poster is correct Floyds resume post Hatton comprised mostly of c fighters and over the hill name fighters that he can make a buck with. Canelo was decent but that is one fighter. Some different refs and judges and he could have got L's to Judah (dq) Oscar and Castillo.
Floyd literally only fought fighters that were reigning champions, ranked in the Top 5 of the division being fought or in the P4P Top 10 for the following 8 years straight after he fought Oscar.
How many times has Lomachenko fought a Top 10 P4P ranked fighter at all? Just one in Rigondeaux I think.
Floyd fought more Top 5 ranked guys in the division being fought in in that 8 year period post Oscar than Lomachenko has in his entire career.

You haven't watched many boxers if you think Loma is once in a lifetime. This is a guy that got dropped by Linares, struggled with Ortiz, lost to Salido, got shut out by Teo. It's clear the only thing "once in a lifetime" about Loma is his promotional hype and careful matchmaking. Any decent fighter should look good against bums and journeyman.
Hey now, we can break those down. Loma was toying with Linares for most of the fight. He got careless and walked into a perfectly time straight left. Got up, zero issues. Goes on to KO the bigger dude with a body shot.
Picking on him struggling against Ortiz is probably a foresight of what's to come against Haney. It was his last fight. Loma is getting older. His style is meant for youth. High volume, activity, quick reflexes. He's not what he used to be no matter what anybody says. Doesn't detract from what he was in his prime.
Lost to Salido in his second fight. Based on Boxrec, Salido had over 50 pro fights going into that bout, lol. Loma had 1. People might bring up amateurs, but still, pro fighting is pro fighting and not exactly the same as amateurs. Loma may have bit off a tad much going in against a guy like Salido in his second fight... Not sure I can knock him nowadays for that (unless I'm hating), though I was sure happy when he lost initially, lol.
What fight did you see when you say he got shut out by Teo? Teo fought like a deer in headlights for the first half of the fight, against a smaller Loma who was also dealing with ring rust. As soon as Loma got comfortable which may have been too late, he took over the fight. He was running combination punches on Teo's face and rocking his head all over the place. The end fight, Teo's face had more damage than Loma and if Loma had maybe 1 or 2 more rds, he would of won instead. It was by no means a shut out. I personally think it was a sloppy win for Teo. Had Loma started 2 rds sooner to get into the fight, he would of won. If you don't believe me, watch a the highlights video of that fight from DAZN (or Showtime, whoever aired it, not a fan made video, lol). You'll see more exciting combinations from Loma than Teo and think it was Loma who won rather than Teo.
That's not true for several reasons. Loma always fought the best available opponent. The majority of his fights were either against champions or top ranked fighters, sometimes in the form of mandatories or not. This is exactly what he's been doing his entire career. Ninety percent of his fights are title fights. Floyd was fighting an over-the-hill Shane Mosely, a cherry pick in Maidana who had the crap beat out of by an old retired Erik Morales, guys like Gatti, another totally shot fighter, a Carlos Baldomir, a Sharmba Mitchel ... LMAO ... Come on man. Let's just be honest.

I really did in my first post, lol. Unless you can give me a near identical fighter that I can say, OKAY, fair point, someone else did it just as good or the same prior to Loma. I wouldn't mind accepting that. I'm not sure how you could call him 1 dimensional. He's fought all types of fighters. Tall/power punchers/boxers/fast/slow. I mean, you could put that in your head to hate on him, but I think anyone outside of that bubble would disagree.

What makes Loma once in a lifetime? Tell us. Please. I want to hear it. He's pretty one dimensional as far as fighters go. The story of the Salido fight is how Loma had no plan B. That's the story of Loma's career. He's one dimensional. He can only overwhelm people with his speed. When he fights someone that can make it physical or counter him he has no idea what to do. That's not "once in a lifetime". Loma is just a guy that was handed a lot of opportunities he didn't earn.

I remember watching Loma first I believe on one of the ESPN fight nights. I thought he was cocky and arrogant. I wanted to see him lose. I too was satisfied to see him lose to Salido and take the L... ON HIS SECOND FIGHT. I think Salido had like 40 fights at that time or something. In hindsight, talking crap about him losing to a guy with that many fights under his belt in only his second fight, is kind of a stretch... He didn't even get KO'd or dropped.
Since Loma actually loss to Teo, though came on strong in the second half, I never appreciated him much though knew he was something special. I've never seen a guy move and fight the way he does. He's not even on his bike. He'll literally stand in front of you, dipping to the sides, slipping and sliding, you can barely hit him and he's hitting you back in an aggressive manner. Give me another fighter who fights nearly identical.
He is a once in a lifetime type of fighter and I doubt we'll see another like him anytime soon. While I thought I didn't like him because of how good he was, the reality was, I didn't appreciate what he brought to the ring that no other fighter was doing.

19 pro fights and two losses, wow what an amazing achievement lol
He won a gold medal at Lightweight then went down practically two divisions and had huge size advantages over everyone he fought at Feather & Super Feather and multiple of those was moving up in weight.
Rigo moved up two divisions, Sosa moved up, Walters shelved and had one fight at the weight where he looked abysmal.
Name me one fight he didn't have a noticeable size advantage in until he moved to LW?
Lomachenko fans had zero issues with his weight bullying yet they soon pull it out as an excuse when it seems fitting.
He was still samll or the same size as most at 130. Your hate is funny
