A majority (if not all) these dads would have nothing if it wasnt for their kids. But at the same time, these kids would be nothing without their fathers. Rarely do you get Middle to upper class kids in boxing. I think most of these guys could’ve made it without their dads. A lot would be better off without them tbh. Greats like Duran, Hagler, Hearns all came from fatherless homes. A lot of these boxing dads realise their kids have talent and hope their kids can carry them along for the ride. It’s completely self-seeking.

teofimo is a 1-trick pony who is inconsistent. He lost the belts on his first defence against a limited kambosos. He beat an overrated loma who fought scared.
