Crossfit's constant HIIT training has been known to cause Rhabdo in crossfit athletes and the open secret is that Ortiz trains 7 days a week with no rest days, I think it's plausible that Ortiz's training regime is so poorly optimized that he's gotten Rhabdo not once but twice. Yeah he has Rhabdo, its from over training and not enough recovery with rest, fluids and nutrition, so Im guessing he trains a lot and cuts a lot of weight, So he is pretty much dehydrated and training too hard iwth those cross fit style circuit routines. From what Ive heard he is in bad shape now, his power is not the same either cause of the muscle wasting rhabdo Its sad really cause he is all Golden Boy has right now, and everyone was clamoring for a super fight between him and Boots Ennis. but he may never bounce back from this.

It's not looking good for GBP for sure. First, the whole Schaffer debacle where they realized they didn't have the fighters they thought they had signed, then Canelo eventually leaves them, and now with this stunt of leaving Garcia high and dry during the press conference after his first loss, I think they're about to lose the remaining big names, and potential big names, they have and lose a lot of power in the boxing industry.
