I don't even think he's the best fighter at his division. Shakur,Haney both would beat him. Loma is the wildcard who they already ran from. The version of Loma that beat Comney beats Tank also(we gonna see if he's still that guy in May). The real super fight for this weight class comes next month.
Canelo is still a face of boxing. You don`t become that over night.
If Canelo ( after Ryder) rematches Bivol and/or fights Benavidez, he keeps this status.
True as of now Canelo is still the face of boxing. Fury had a chance but lately his antics have been turning off alot of people and the fight vs White didn't help either. Crawford that's another one that had potential. Tank is popular but I just don't see him carrying this sport. He's a really good fighter, but he's not no Floyd or Pacquiao or even Canelo. I believe he loses a couple times if he fights the best at 135 or even 140.
He could be, but from now on he need to fight good opposition. No Barrios or Hector Garcías with all due respect but big names or belt fights.
But he has never done that and it has led him to where he is so why would he start now? This is just a scam, a grift, a conn. If anything his opposition might get worse when he realizes he has his audience captured. He could start literally fighting non boxers or small Japanese boys like his idol

Hes never gonna be the face of boxing, in a commercial/mainstream recognition sense. Ryan had the potential to be based on his stuff outside the ring but hes just not good enough in it.
This face of boxing should beat some top guy at 140 or 135 first.
As I said, Tank - Garcia was a solid fight between two contenders fighting at a catchweight, nothing more.
well, maybe he will keep fighting tomato cans until people stop calling it that hehe....
Just saying if you're gonna be called the best fight the best. Ryan was never gonna beat Tank but why get a catcher plus rehydration clause vs him but you've fought others at that weight class without it?
but we know he wont fight the best there. will he beat the tomato cans he fights? most likely. the drained fighters or small guys like santa cruz and garcia? most likely. he got a dubious decision over isaac cruz so not sure you can claim hes some unbeatable force. i think he could compete with the top guys and maybe even beat some but he wont

Lol kills Loma they didn't wanna fight him the past 2 years for a reason. Thr only way they try and fight him now is if Loma shows his age next month. He won't be able to land those same shots on Loma or on Shakur.
Tank is knocking loma completely out. Shakur is a good fight. Haney i believe gets clipped. Stop the none sense.......
Tank is definitely one of the faces of boxing. Who really is there that they could call that besides Canelo? Crawford could have been the guy but he let most his career slip by
i guess you are right home boy...i just don't see anyone beating him at 135-140....hate that there is rehydration clause but hate it as much as excuses hehe

The face of boxing is the one that generates the most interest and revenue for his fights, not who wins in imaginary matchups.
Canelo’s still #1 with Tank leapfrogging Fury for second tonight. Davis’ next fight will be blockbuster; generating tons of interest and revenue, dwarfing his peers.

He won't be able to land those shots on Shakur and will struggle with Huggins Haney. If Loma has anything in the Tank left his angles will give Tank madd problems.
Boxing needs a face and it’s up for grabs imo. Joshua, Canelo, and Fury all fumbled the ball. Someone has to be the face. Might as well be a brutal knockout puncher. Fans love knockouts. I feel like Tank could at a minimum be a top star in the States. If not THE star, he can be one of the top guys in the US. Just let the man actually fight. Don’t go all PBC and just let all of this momentum die by sitting Tank on the shelf for the next year.
Tank vs. Prime Loma, Loma makes Tank quit
Tank vs. current Loma, Tank wins by UD
Tank vs. Haney, Haney wins by UD after some scary moments for him
Tank vs. Stevenson, Stevenson wins by shutout
i think you mean tank wont eff with anyone good at 135 or any division for that matter, and remember this was a 136 pound fight with rehydration clause so not sure what 135 has to do with it. i guess you are right home boy...i just don't see anyone beating him at 135-140....hate that there is rehydration clause but hate it as much as excuses hehe
