BAD STOPPAGE!
That Asian referee should have let Harrison continue and allowed Tim to do more damage to him. The ref denied us with a spectacular knockout finish.
The ref should've given an 8 count before the final barrage. Maybe if that would've happened and the ref allowed him to continue, Tszyu would've gotten the KO. But that's pretty harsh.
First, why point out that the referee is Asian? We have eyes and it's irrelevant.
Two, that was a good stoppage.
Lastly, "do more damage to him?". You sound like a well-balanced individual.
He chose to participate in a violent sport, so he is also used to being pummeled. A disastrous stoppage and anticlimatic. So describing someone is no longer permitted here?
Responding is one thing...being able to defend yourself is another. He was beat-up...and badly at that. He would have been sending him out to get KO'd...maybe worse.
Harrison is generally speaking a live dog, and the referee should have allowed it to continue so that he could have landed a hail mary punch.

- - Well, OP may be licensed to drive, registered to vote, and old enough to have cirrhosis of his tattooed covered liver, so in a devolving world, such misogynic misanthropy has become the new standard.
I agree with all of that. However, it did seem once Harrison got back up that he responded well to the ref. Both things can be true.

But you don't see on TV what he sees standing right in front of him, and he saw something that told him he needed to stop it. Could have been his eyes rolled, could have been an expression on his face that look bad. Harrison didn't have the slightest objection to the call, and I thought he didn't really want to get up from the KD, and didn't expect him to. He took a lot of punishment and would have just taken more until the inevitable if it was allowed to continue, and it could have been bad.

He could have stopped it before the kd. After the kd , Harrison had responded to all commands he should have let it continue.

Disagreed, Tim landed around 7-8 uppercuts to a unresponsive Tony who temporarily was knocked out while hanging on the ropes.

I'd bet that Harrison's brain and body felt that was a spectacular knockout. Tony was getting broken down and busted up throughout the whole fight. He'd been hurt a few times before he was knocked down at the end.
