Yeah he’s a bit of diva in his approach at times but which A sides haven’t flexed their muscles to get bigger splits? They all do.
Look the facts…
he chased Wlad for years and then beat him.
Fought Wilder 6 months after a 3 year drug binge and losing 150lbs. People said that fight won’t happen. Then he smashed him up in a rematch, when many said the rematch won’t happen
Bizarrely, he was accused of not wanting to fight Dillian Whyte by many people, then whooped him
Now he’s going into an undisputed fight. No previous champs were really THAT serious about wanting undisputed. They always say if fighters want the fight it’ll happen.
Fury is scared of NOBODY, he’s just a cunning business man and just secured himself 70% of a huge purse because he always had Usyk over a barrel financially.
He’s one of few fighters that is taking belts off long reigning champs and now making undisputed fights, even if it’s a bit tedious watching the process of it getting made.
had he completely avoided the fight then I’d criticise him all day but a fighters being shrewd business men and securing a bigger purse is nothing to be too angry about, it’s prize fighting. Usyk would do the same if he could, hence his team offering Joe Joyce 7%

- - It's like U can't keep up with all the grades they keep setting U back in?
Jeff Powell from the DM says its Usyk's biggest purse.
Jay Deas knows more about boxing than a Daily Mail reporter. :lol1:
The site fee alone for Usyk/AJ 2 was $150 million and Usyk got a 50/50 split.
It's nowhere near the biggest payday of Usyk's career. He probably came away with more for his first fight with AJ and definitely got more from his 50/50 split for the rematch. The money Usyk made from AJ 2 would have been higher than Fury's biggest payday.

humpty dumpty is going to wish he went to the middle east after usyk gets his hand raised in front of furys fans, hes going to have more egg on his face than conor benn
What can I say kafkod my friend, now the fight is made I don't give a f***
Yeah Usyk probably does deserve more, but it's still the biggest payday of his career so everyone's a winner.

Not anymore.
I used to respect him. Too many Schwarz`s ; "Pianeta`s and Seferi`s in his career. Beating Chisora the third time while claiming he is the best heavyweight ever.
I mean, he is a "draw", WBC champ, he could have fought Sanchez, Makhmudov, Joyce, Hrgovic...whoever for his title defense, but no, he fought Chisora. the third time.
Fury is a bad joke.

It is. But Usyk deserves respeck for accepting his B-Side to make the fight for the fans. Wish some other guys would be so brave.
Yeah man I respect Usyk, he's a true warrior and champion.
Or maybe this fight has been done for a while and all this stuff is just hype to get people talking it.
George Lockhart has been in the UK since Monday, he only arrives when Fury is in camp.
I'm afraid that Fury will break your heart kafkod, he's going to beat and maul Usyk to a bloody pulp.
I'm now picking Usyk to win, as long as the officiating is fair. He really wants this fight, Fury doesn't. Shit like that matters.
denium, this is a valid point he's making. The only thing that's changed since you said you were done with Fury after his low-ball 70/30 offer is that the offer was accepted. So ...

Whenever it was done, I don't think Usyk would have accepted 30/70, after 50/50 had initially been agreed upon, unless it was done in more or less the same way we saw it being done yesterday. And the way it was done makes Usyk look like a warrior and Fury look like an absolute twat.
Fury is an alpha and is the face of boxing. Usyk had to know his place.
Usyk will look like a warrior until big Tyson starts knocking him around like a child.
It’s a duck though if Usyk declined it ? :stupid:

Because this is real life.
And Usyk is a real life man of the people. I honestly think he would have fought Fury for expenses only, as long as the £1million donation to his Ukranian charity was honoured.

Yes, some motive, but not the one you were pushing with your comment.
My point was that Usyk had used lowball offers to get his own way and aid his motives
but it’s not okay when Fury gets his own way seemingly..
I didn't see it like that. What I saw was Fury trying to weasel out of the fight by making a purse demand he didn't think Usyk would accept and having his bullshit bluff called by a real fighting man.

Did he or didn’t he offer a low amount as part of some motive?
so he’s happy to play the financial game when it suits him, regardless of the motive
