An easy fight for Usyk, if that ever happens. Not the same level. Hrgovic is unexperienced as a pro and he has no real skills, he telegraphs punches, blocks punches with his face, has a poor stamina and ring IQ..Zhang fight showed me all his flaws.
Pretty much
seems he’s sticking to the figure he wants and that’s it. I guess if the Saudi’s couldn’t even come up with it, Warren definitely couldn’t.
I don’t think anyone could really call Fury’s bluff either. I genuinely don’t think he cares if anyone says he’s ducking or whatever. I mean, he got royally slated for the Chisora fight but it didn’t stop them making the fight.
So I guess the fight is never happening unless someone in the Middle East gives him this specific figure he wants, and we don’t even know what that is.
I reckon he’s just gonna do the Ngannou fight.
It's like fury trying to make this s retirement fight, and wants such big money as he won't fight against type thing?
Fury is at fault here, not USYK. Fury has one foot out already and makes no secrets he’s closer to retiring than unifying.
Yeah well he’s already said he doesn’t care about undisputed and that he’s won all those belts before and doesn’t need them twice. Fair enough I suppose, it’s up to him but really it’s a shame if we don’t get to see the two best go at it.
I think at this point he just has a set figure what he wants to make and sets a fee depending on the opponent and he doesn’t care who he fights. That’s why he’ll probably fight Ngannou next. Someone will probably put up enough money for it.
Whatever fee he wants to fight Usyk must be astronomical if the Saudi’s wouldn’t pay it.
Just annoying because I don’t really wanna see them fight anyone else. Not really interested in seeing Fury fight guys we know he will beat, and not interested in Usyk fighting some big stiff idiot like Hrgovic that he can box circles around without breaking a sweat.
No
Read my above post. Fury wants a specific amount, not a percentage and the amount he’s asking for isn’t available.
So essentially there’s no negotiation regarding a split, both Warren and Usyk’s team have basically said that. It’s about being able to give Fury the specific figure he’s asking for
Usyk’s manager said the specific fee he’s asking for is so high that even if Fury took 100% of the money they think is available for the fight, it still wouldn’t amount to the fee Fury is asking for.
It seems like Fury isn't demanding a bigger split than Usyk, he's asking for a specific amount of money.
Alex Krassyuk says he was told by Frank and George Warren that even if Usyk receives ZERO, there isn't enough money available to pay Fury what he's asking for.
Even if the fight is not happening, SOMETHING is happening 'And I want to find out'.
I want to find out who both fighters will be fighting next if 'They don't fight each other'.
If Usyk fights Hrgovic next, this is a solid fight. It is also another fight which has a stylistic carry over effect for the Fury fight.
Joshua & Hrgovic are both Super Heavyweights who can box. Maybe they don't quite have the same standard of inside-long range game as Fury 'But they do have certain attributes and skills where they are better than Fury'.
Usyk is gaining invaluable experience at Heavyweight in fighting 'Super Heavyweights, who have good solid boxing skills'.
Tyson Fury in comparison has fought Whyte & Chisora in his last two fights. Stylistically these fights have very little carry over for the Usyk fight 'Also Chisora was miles out of condition'.
Skill for skill Fury has not fought at elite level for 7 going on 8 years now 'Kiltschko was the last fight he fought another elite level fighter in terms of pure technical skill'.
Deontay Wilder was a elite level fight and challenge 'But in terms of raw boxing ability, skill for skill Wilder is not a elite level fighter' But he is a great fighter, I must make this clear when I state this.
I suppose with a fighter like Fury, he negates this level of competition 'By working in the gym'.
I have said the same about Alvarez. At a certain stage of a fighters career, most the real work gets done in the gym.
This is why I honestly would not be surprised if Fury does not fight at high level opponent next.
All the other top Heavyweights are preoccupied with their own up and coming fights.
Is Ruiz Junior currently right now, a higher level fight than Hrgovic? I am not so sure, but he is still a Top fighter
'Still that is a solid enough fight'.
So Tyson priced himself out?. No probkem. We get usy k v hyrgovic

fury doesn’t want a percentage. He’s asking for a specific figure and it’s simply isn’t possible to generate that figure what he asked for in the UK, Warren said it.
It must be an astronomical figure because he got 29 mil against Whyte and that was in the UK.
Greedy bald bastard

Sad turn of events if true. Hrgovic who struggled against the Chinese journeyman will suffer a brutal beating to the much smarter and faster Usyk. Meanwhile the Croatian arch-nemesis of Hrgovic, the savage Alen Babic has a hard test in front of him against the Polish puncher Rozanski in late April.
Usy k called fury s bluff, so is Tyson going to say ok you win 60-40 to winner?

If Usyk really wants the final belt he'll give in to Fury's demands. Fury might be being a slapnut but I don't agree with boxers not getting a fight made just because I understand why they didn't. I mean, I agree with Team Usyk that 60/40 majority to the winner is a solid deal and Tyson's a jabroni for not taking it, but that doesn't mean I'm just going to pretend Usyk won a title.
Hrgovic's fodder for Usyk. Too slow, too stiff, too stupid. Oleksandr will dominate post to post and bell to bell and if you don't agree you can go to hell.

But heavyweight is a good division with interesting fights and hyrgovic v usy k is one of them. Need to give the prospects opportunity to shine
