Fury is meant to be fighting April 29th regardless, Wembley is booked
what’s that, 8 weeks away? You would think this fight would be confirmed before 8 weeks out. Although I guess you can say that about any fight on a decent scale. And this will sell out instantly, so that’s not an issue really.
everything seems to have gone very quiet. That usually means that it’s done and they’re gonna announce, or it means it’s basically dead in the water. Hopefully the former.
I dunno, I was positive at one point a few months ago but now we’re in March and nothing. Although I guess it could be pushed back a few weeks to May, maybe April 29th is not set in stone
I really hope the silence is a good sign, which is sometimes is. But even then you usually get a few leaked reports here and there but there’s basically been nothing.
You forgot Charles Martin. One of the greatest HW champions in history and Joshua took his belt in 2 rounds
Ah yes, Charles Martin, what an elite boxer. Let's see, who else did AJ beat to win his belts?
Parker, the man who has been reduced to carrying Fury's water bottle, and Andy Ruiz, the human blob who happened to have KTFO AJ in the previous fight.
When AJ finally faced a real champion, he got schooled twice and had a nervous breakdown in the ring.
But Tyson Fury is the fraud, righttttt
Fury wants nothing to do with tough fights but AJ’s best win is a 40 year old inactive Fury leftover
:lol1: AJ has pretty much been flattened or schooled when fighters who are low level or 40 years old
Well said. AJ's best win is Fury's sloppy seconds. Embarrassing!!
Gay J lmao. Are you 5 years old? Fury ducked AJ and is a fraud. Everyone can see that now .
No matter what, the fact is Fury has defended his title what…three times? He’s a bottler with a big mouth, wants nothing to do with the tough fights. Wilder hasn’t beaten anyone of note, literally. (Name his best win) and after that it’s old Wlad and Sefer Seferi. Fury is a fraud, face it, like everyone else has.
Fury has dethroned two long-reigning world champions. aGay has dethroned zero. If Fury is a fraud, what does that make aGay?
And for the record. Wilder would lay aGay out cold in a few rounds max.
So there is 8 weeks left until Fury's proposed next fight date. As I have reiterate before, that is only a 7 week solid training camp for both fighters.
Do people think both camps have already pre-selected their training-sparring partners? Are they going to spar at all for the first undisputed Heavyweight title fight for over 20 years?
Come on guys, all you hardcore crazed Fury fans must admit 'This is a extremely unprofessional fight negotiation'.
All of Fury's fights since he has been champion, have all been unnecessarily difficult to make.
To be straight up honest with you all. I have also stated that Fury has been wanting out of this game since his third fight with Wilder 'Which there is nothing wrong with, the man has achieved a great deal'.
But the fact of the matter is Fury has not fought at elite level skill for skill for over 7 years 'Going on 8 years now'. The Kiltschko fight was the last time he fought another elite level skilled technical boxer 'Fury's next best opponent in terms of boxing abilities were probably Whyte or Wallin' That is it for 7-8 years, Fury outside of this has predominantly fought at domestic to high -end European level.
Wilder was a elite level fight, but in terms of pure boxing ability 'Wilder skill for skill is not a elite level fighter'. And that is no disrespect, because I rate Wilder extremely highly 'But as a fighter technically he is not elite'.
If Tyson Fury beats Usyk, it is the greatest Heavyweight win since Evander Holyfield beating Mike Tyson I. If you check his accomplishments 'Usyk's'.
Usyk is the most accomplished active fighter in the entire sport of boxing, and he is undefeated 'And still pretty much at the peak of his powers, or within that range'
If Tyson Fury is to beat Usyk, it is a all-time great Heavyweight win 'Objectively, subjectively and statistically'. And vice versa, the same applies for Usyk 'If he is to beat Tyson Fury'.
It is the most significant Heavyweight fight for over 25 years. That is the magnitude of greatness which surrounds this fight.

I almost feel like he is going to fight any contender that would have considered fighting Wilder, just to freeze Wilder out of a decent opponent. There was talk of a Ruiz/Wilder fight, maybe Fury is c'ckblocking him and may look to give Ruiz a shot? Where does that leave Wilder? Just speculating.
Regardless, it's enough already. Time to have an undisputed HW champion. Fury should just agree to a 50/50 deal and get on with it.
Don’t worry about Wilder having decent opposition to face, because he doesn’t want to face anyone half assed decent anyway. He is garbage. He’ll fight the mma dude, or Chisora or Sefer Seferi.
The last I heard from Frank Warren about this was that the Wembley date had been pencilled in, but not confirmed.
Everything to do with Fury is written in pencil. He’s a liar, a ducker and a fraud. It’s that mma guy next, or Wilder 4
It doesn't matter what Fury does from now on, he'll always be regarded as a superior fighter to your hero GayJ.
Does that little fact hurt your feelings Juggernutter?

“Game changed” - what could that mean? I
mean AJ and Usyk already fought in Saudi, so that fight with Usyk wouldn’t be a game changer per se.
it could be interpreted that he’s gonna do the first big crossover fight to happen Saudi with Ngannou.
The only really hope I have is Shane Fury seems to think Usyk his next and he’s pretty much the only straight shooter in the family in interviews.
Yes, it could be that, or just hyperbole from Fury. You could say the first unified HW title fight of the 4 belt era going down in Saudi Arabia is game changing.

If Fury is directly negotiating with the Arabs, perhaps Warren is out of the loop?
Depends if he has a contract with Warren I suppose, I have no idea.
I know John Fury is not happy with Warren though, he keeps blaming him publicly for the reason Tommy has been too inactive in his real boxing career.
I guess the announcement could be about Tyson vs Ngannou or even Wilder again. But like I said, the absence of any **** talk about Usyk from Tyson and his dad, plus dead silence from Warren and Krassyuk, leads me to believe that Tyson has got the offer he wanted from the Arabs and he's going to fight Usyk over there next.

He said on Monday “ we should know this week one way or the other, but I hope it’s Usyk” - doesn’t exactly sound like it’s done

This is true. Fury posted on Insta with MSB regarding "big news" on Sunday. Then Krassyuks deadline passed on Monday, and as far as I know we havnt heard anything since.
Who knows exactly, but if the fight was off for sure, I think we would of heard by now.
That's what I'm thinking. Let's hope the Gods of Boxing are not going to allow their blue ribbon division to descend to the level of WWE type farce.
It's done. Already Warren said a week ago "it's almost done".
Also, my some British pals informed me who work in boxing media.

I hope you're right mate. I wonder what this post was all about?

I think we are going to get Fury/Usyk next and it will be in Saudi Arabia. My reasons:
Tyson and his dad in S.A. for Tommy's fight, looking happy, relaxed and praising their hosts at every opportunity. If the unification fight had fallen through they would have been going in on Team Usyk like there was no tomorrow ... denigrating them , blaming them etc. There was none of that from the Furys, so far as I saw, just lots of praise and goodwill towards the Saudis and Prince Khalid in particular. This leads me to believe the Arabs have made Tyson a new offer and he intends to accept it.
Also, dead silence from Warren and Krassyuk. If negotiations had fallen through and the big fight was off, the blame game would have already started.
