We all know that Fury vs Usyk negotiation isn't exactly going smoothly. Add to that, Wilder is open to fighting outside the PBC and Andy is also leaving the PBC. What are the chances that Andy Ruiz goes to Top Rank or remains a free agent on a fight-by-fight basis?
If Fury is not fighting Usyk, then both need a big name to earn money alternately. Fury can fight Ruiz in the UK where Fury can clearly be the A-side and sell good PPV. Similarly, Usyk has already fought AJ twice, the Fury fight is not going well, and Wilder could be a possible opponent either in the US or even in Saudi.
What do you think are the chances of that if Fury vs Ruiz fails through?
The problem is that promoters and fighters are too greedy. They are always looking for the biggest payday. In the meantime they are aging and getting rusty while fan matchup favorites don't materialize.
Fury and Usyk are hurting any chances of leaving a memorable legacy in the sport if they don't fight soon. They don't have much of a resume to leave behind.
Fury and Ruiz is not a good money match up until Ruiz fights someone like Wilder.
- - Deyonce and Blubber are shot, hence nobody but their muffins care anymore about them.
Wilder and Finkel are both in Saudi....Finkel clearly said he will meet 1 or 2 people (Prince Khalid presumably) to decide the biggest fights for Wilder. I fancy either it would be for Wilder vs Usyk, Wilder vs Ruiz, or Wilder vs AJ to be staged in Saudi.
Saudi is now the Mecca (see the irony there?) of boxing. You can hear Sheikh Chisora talking to Deontay about the prince.

'Fact of the matter Usyk has just fought Joshua back to back, that is two elite fights in a row'.
True...but I have a feeling all these fighters are now aging and would finally want the money fights. It is possible Usyk goes for a mandatory for the next fight but he will definitely fight big fights this year. Age will soon be against him given his style and size. He won't be around in the HW division for a long time. And the pandemic has also shown that it would be better to make the big fights now while you can. Also, both AJ and Wilder would be more willing to take risks now that they have lost their 0.
So, if Usyk ain't fighting Fury next, then the next biggest fight for him would be Wilder. Similarly, Fury should be able to beat Ruiz and make money out of it rather than facing Joyce. He will also take on AJ possibly within the next 12 months or so.
'Fury's last two fights have not been elite level fights, and his last fight was I would say European level fight'.
I would say Whyte was fairly good even if Chisora wasn't elite level but is always dangerous for anyone. Fury could also go the Ngannou way and make a lot of money. I do believe some of these popular HW fighters are now aging and would go for the money fights either immediately or within the next 12-15 months.
Well, Fury is in Saudi for the Tommy-Jake fight.
Let's see if something comes out of it. Perhaps they can work out a deal and make an announcement after the fight. However, if it doesn't work out, I think Fury vs Ruiz and Wilder vs Usyk would be the way forward for both. Of course, that will deprive us of unification even though I think that is overrated. I would like to see the fights - Fury vs Usyk, Fury vs Joshua, Wilder vs Usyk, and Wilder vs Joshua, with or without the belts.
Nothing to do with not being able to build a stadium, fury didn't agree to fighting there as he would 'only' be getting 70% of what they paid Joshua.
These fights are on the table, that is why Ruiz Junior & Wilder are sitting back and have not made any moves.
Soon as the Fury vs Usyk negotiations reach a decision 'Then other big Heavyweight fights will start to gain traction'.
But I am unsure about Usyk fighting Wilder 'Fact of the matter Usyk has just fought Joshua back to back, that is two elite fights in a row'.
He could easily have a ticking over fight. It is Tyson Fury who needs to actually fight somebody at elite or world level 'Fury's last two fights have not been elite level fights, and his last fight was I would say European level fight'.
Note: I think other Top Heavyweights should make their own moves, because eventually the public pressure will force fights. In my opinion Tyson Fury is actually for the first time in his career under big pressure to fight at elite level as a Champion 'He has to fight another World level to Elite level fighter other than Deontay Wilder'.
They probably do want but not as much to give Fury ridiculous money. Otherwise, there wouldn't have been any negotiations in the first place. Bob saying something is not the final outcome. I don't mind Wembley but I think they are having a harder time negotiating that.

Bob all ready said won't be Saudi as the date is set now Fury fights April 29. Apparently they cannot build a arena in time. Not sure i believe that
When i saw Paul vs Tommy announced in Saudi i found it odd that was announced and not Fury Usyk and they put the money up for Paul Tommy instead. I don't think they want the fight Usyk Fury really. Better if it happens in Wembley anyway
I think Fury Usyk will happen next. If it doesn't happen next the chance for a heavyweight undisputed is gone again for a while
