Realistically, Canelo won’t ever fight Bivol again..

Canelo shouldn't fight Bivol again imo. I think he loses again so there's no point and a loss at 168 in particular would be terrible for his legacy.

More of em probably would if they had acquired generational wealth by their mid 20s and had the guaranteed backing of their own sanctioning org and Vegas win or lose. The risk / reward calculation looks very different when you already made enough $$$ to set your family for ever than it does when a loss could mean the end of your shot to make real money out of the sport. Maybe or maybe they would think "f**k it, I'm rich, why should I risk taking a beating?" A lot of fighters getting paid well still seem risk averse.

Honestly, I hope Bivol won`t agree with Canelo`s terms and will tell him to f.uck away. If Bivol fights Buatsi as stay busy fight and Beterbiev fights Callum Smith, I am fine. Bivol - Beterbiev should be next after that.

I don't think Canelo is in it just for the money. If he was, why move up at all? Why not just fight a load of John Ryders at 168? He's gonna make his money regardless of the opposition.
