DAZN UK now £19.99 a month

Might as well make every show a PPV. Charge $3-5 for small cards, $20 for a more high profile card and $50+ for what should be traditional PPVs

I had it when it was £2 and kept it for a while when it went to £8, I cancelled when the only thing they had all month was a Canelo fight and there was an extra PPV cost for it. They sent me the typical come back type e-mail the other day with the schedule between now and the 20th of May is only 7 shows. 1-2 a month for £20? Laughable. I'd have been happy if they had something every week, just a British title fight in a town hall, and 7 big one's but there's so little on it for £8, and £20 is unreal considering what other platforms, even Sky Sports, give you for the money.

That’s why BoxNation was great, used to get fights like Mayweather fights just part of the subscription and loads of other big fights probably wasn’t really appreciated enough by people at the time, but looking back now it was excellent Miss those days staying up all night watch BoxNation, bunce screaming in the studio etc .. Boxnation was brilliant, I subscribed from day 1 up until the BT merger which basically killed the channel. They had an absolutely no budget as well, DAZN literally have 100x the budget Boxnation had yet still somehow provide less content. I remember one night Boxnation showed four cards in one day/night, they had a German Sauerland card, Khan vs Diaz in the UK, Martinez vs Murray in Argentina then last minute they picked up Garcia vs Judah from the US. Incredible value.

UFC is rarely ever PPV here too. The odd McGregor fight has been in the past but not often. BT Sport show the majority of PPV’s as part of your monthly subscription. This is what I keep on saying. They are punishing the fans for these boxers excessive purses. If they could pay most of these star fighters a few million their model would be sustainable at the price that they have their service at. But these Fighters that think they are so big that can barely generate ticket sales and don't deserve those kind of purses. They are losing on canelo's fights because his purse is too high. They should cut it about 25%.

Only a fool would cough up £20 a month for this trash.

It costs me about $4 AUD per week, that's cheap, you be lucky to buy a doughnut for that. For now Give it a year and it will go up x5 and then doubled again, like they have everywhere else

I remember Brits were saying dazn was a good thing till it came to the UK. It’s not so much that It’s most people felt DAZN was good in theory when they promised no PPV because in the words of Eddie Hearn “PPV is dead, it’s done” I think when they start doubling the price so it’s twice as much as a Netflix account per month, adding PPV etc, which went against their supposed ethos, people quickly got put off it. But I suppose it was inevitable they would backtrack on PPV to keep or attract bigger names. But I just don’t see how they can justify doubling the price of a subscription when their content doesn’t get any better and it’s double the price of all the big name services in other fields. Had they stuck to their word and provided even the biggest events as part of their subscription, and kept it at a reasonable price, I think most people would think it’s a pretty good service,

It's $20 in the US and they have so little to show for the price. When I had ESPN+ I could watch the ESPN fights, the non-televised undercards, and there were tons of other sports on there too. One year in particular I watched EVERY GAME of this Italian women's volleyball team..... some of the most gorgeous women I've ever seen jiggle around in booty shorts. Worth it. But Boxing alone? $20? When some months have one event? Hell no, son. HELL no.

Yeah No Thank You but Good Luck with that, I realize that I'm just not that much of a boxing fans and I certainly don't watch Darts and the other Content they have It wouldn't matter who was on DAZN or any APP, boxing is just not important or entertaining enough for me to have a subscription for. Entire Families use Disney+, Netflex...so those Apps are very worth it from that standpoint. However, when I had DAZN and ESPN+ I was times in which I would go MONTHS without opening those Apps then I thought "This Is A Waste Of F^cking Money" when you see them on your statement Good points. Some of those are reasons why I didn't like the whole " boxing on a App " thing. Another complaint of mine was how would a young up and coming boxer get exposure on an App nobody buys.

$20’is worth it since I get great content like the “Ocky and Barak” show

and with Showtime probably leaving boxing soon who is going to invest in boxing? I've heard this for like a decade now.
