What is holding up the fight? Ruiz's last fight was 5 months ago. Is he another part-time boxer now? Waiting for a PPV slot probably, PBC ain’t gonna put two PPV’s in the same month and they have Benavidez-Plant in March, potentially Tank-Garcia in April and potentially Spence vs Thurman in May.

For a young guy with special skills like Jaron Ennis, he should not be playing this waiting game at all. Disappointing part is there are fighters available for him "within the PBC perimeter."
