Which fighters have a gift of a gab or an aura of a politician when conducting interviews. Someone who you could listen to speak for an hour or longer.
few that come to mind are Bobby Czyz, Billy Costello, Tommy Morrison, Antonio Tarver.
I want to specifically highlight Tommy Morrison, this mofo could literally sell me a Kia based on his speaking ability.
The ones that you don't understand when they get interviewed are the Charlo brothers. It gets even worse when they are next to each other. Incoherent and weird pantomimes.
Tbh, very true but at the same time, they can be quite well spoken. The issue is when they get riled up or feel they have to live up to some sort of show. You can clearly tell when they flip a switch and start moving and acting like the rappers they watch on TV and hang around.
It's odd really. Like a weird need to be hyper-masculine raw raw, talking about smoking dudes. But that's once they get riled up. :lol1:
I can't believe I forgot the great Tony Harrison. Man the build up to charlo 2 was one of my favorites. I still go back and watch their face off from time to time.
Best: Eubank Sr and Sergio Martinez.
Worst: Currently Tank, I have no idea what he's saying half the time.

Bernard Hopkins is one of the greatest sharers of wisdom in boxing history. That is a 1000% fact.
Most of the other fighters I have mentioned are surface level. Most of the other fighters on this thread are surface level
Infact? Well spoken fighters. I think you need to define, what actually you mean. Do you want us to list fighters who could sell a product? Charm you?
Boxing is a sport which forces fighters to do the talking. Unlike other sports, were the athletes are strictly instructed to just keep things in context.
Bernard Hopkins is original. His speeches and round-table discussions with the media are apart of boxing history.
Some advice for you, explain your threads a bit more better mate. Not everyone wants to listen to politicians for hours 'And if you know anything about speaking styles and culture, Hopkins material when he was a active fighter. When he had to relies on those abilities, because he was basically his own promoter, manager and protector 'Bernard Hopkins is one of the best'.
This is common universal historic knowledge in boxing.
Note: I honestly don't think you have made this thread clear. I did not mention Mike Tyson, but in reality? Who are the fighters, that inspire most people both inside and outside of the ring. Mike Tyson is right up there, people still want to listen to what he has to say. I don't understand this concept you have with down grading fighters, if they don't speak a certain way? There are plenty of people you can pass by on the street each day, who can say please, thank you, and read some shakesphere in their spare time 'But are they original, what are they saying'.
Prince Naseem Hamed, here is another fighter. That man speaks, and people will be captivated. You cannot deny this.
TheIronMike, I just don't think you have made this thread clear. You are going on about politicians, and fighters selling products or whatever.
You ramble on needlessly like B-Hop. I can see why you enjoy listening to him. :lol1:
Ray Leonard
Malignaggi
Lewis
Ali
Sean O’Grady
De La Hoya
Raul Marquez
Mancini
From old interviews I’d add Archie Moore, Dempsey, Pep, Palomino, Pastrano.
Can't agree with Hopkins. At least, nowadays...he's the king of fumbling his words and using diction that makes zero sense.

I get that.
I like weirdo eccentric kind of people
Each to their own etc
Yeah as I said to Koba, it comes down to preference really, Keith is just a guy I’ve never taken to.
He’s backpacked around Asia as a pro boxer. Plays the piano, meditates, got married in Nepal.
He’s an oddball and the kind of guy I’d like to hang out with.
He ain’t my type of dude, I think he’s a weirdo.
Muhammad Ali
Rocky Marciano
Mike Tyson
Wladimir Klitschko
Tyson Fury
Wish we could hear these 5 men sitting around a table talking boxing.
Mike Tyson in the 80s could put his words together very well, especially when it came to boxing commentary. Unfortunately the coke, weed, and fights have altered his speech so much he is a fraction of the person he was back then.
I can’t take to Thurman, even when he was coming up calling out Floyd and screaming “don’t duck me boy” at Paulie. He always struck me as a corny dude who was just chasing paydays. I suppose it comes down to preference really.

You ask B-Hop one question and he rambles on for hours. :lol1:
