How sad was it to hear the head figures from Showtime and TGB promotions at the Plant-Benavidez conference

I watched the press conference live and saw Brian Custer introduce President of TGB Tom Brown and Stephen “Weasel” Espinoza to speak about the Benavidez-Plant fight. Tom Brown stated that a lot of people say the big fights in boxing aren’t made but thanks to Showtime and PBC they made this fight happen. Stephen Espinoza expecting boxing fans to give them credit to making this fight happen when in reality the fighters made it happen and Plant even said it himself explaining about the WBC eliminator against Dirrell that got him the Benavidez fight. As boxing fans how frustrating is it how the networks and promoters really care about Boxing fans. So much crock of crap and just hoodwinking us once again……why is Spence-Crawford not made yet? talking about how they take care of the boxing fans by giving us these fights. I don’t know I just felt like brown and Espinoza were just lying through their teeth. Can’t wait for Plant-Benavidez but if it was that easy to make whats the hold up on Spence-Crawford and Tank-Garcia? Yes it could be about the purses and payouts disputes but don’t act like it’s hard to make these fights.
