The days of the proper boxing writers like Sugar and Hauser are long gone tbh. It’s all about clicks and content now. The vast majority of the modern boxing media are just shills, they rely on fighters, promoters etc for access. Without access they don’t have content. So they ask them what they want to hear and write what they want to read. There are a few good guys left but not many.
