Crappy 61,000 PPV buys.
Source: Rick Glaser aka the main man.
Cannot wait for later on (3pm) for Coach Malachi to body these alphabet boy community members, Errols*xuals, the Wilders*xuals and the l-deee-beee-ceee. It's going to be FIRE later on today, especially those 'agents' phoning in to waste the Coach's time. D-Block is soooo annoying (Cough agent)
Perhaps the PPV did flop. I am not denying that. My only question is where is the actual proof that it did? Many of these social media journalists want to be first rather than right.
Yeah who knows but I think more people stream than actually buy these fights, including the big ones with Canelo etc... even 5-6 years ago we could see 1 million buys for a big Canelo fight vs GGG or whoever but now those numbers are lucky to get half that. PBC is putting WAY too many shows on PPV. PPV should always be for the elite fights, not some run of the mill Showtime or HBO championship regular Saturday night level show
I am a huge boxing fan, have been since I was about 13 years old. The last PPV I purchased was Crawford-Porter and I sat here by myself and watched it lol. Covid messed the sport up as well, We used to have big fight parties at my house with like 10-12 people all chipping in and now it's like pulling teeth to get people to want to leave their house. Everyone got lazy and used to sitting home on the couch doing nothing
Unless it did good then we'd hear about it ASAP. It Tanked as it should have

Then where are his sources? This sounds like bullshit to me. Fight promoters typically keep those numbers private. This all seems like it is based off rumor and innuendo. We may never know what the actual final count was for this PPV.

Honestly, after briefly (and painfully) scanning through the poster content in this thread (dramatically low IQ average) - I don’t believe for one second that any of you bums would’ve even paid for the PPV if given the choice.
broke *****s using buffered delayed streams on gateway 2000 computers LMAO
The ldbc always always call up boxing shows, on their brick phones lol.
lol 1000% they got gateway computers lol.

Glaser has been confirmed to be a complete con man. His tax records were posted to Twitter, where he was making less than minimum wage per year and avoided taxes for 6 or 7 years. Every time someone mentioned that to him, he blocked them. The IRS sent tax levies to Top Rank and anyone else who might give him any money. That's a complete deadbeat.
And what's Al Haymon lol?
Rick Glaser has been in boxing for 30 years, there's (Plenty) of people who can 'vouch' for him.
I know it, YOU bought that Tank fight lol.

For the Glaser haters, let's see what Dan and Kim reveal. We don't have Floyd and Ellerbe open mouth fluffing the numbers anymore.

If Tank got those type numbers and he's more relevant than Adrian Boner, I can't wait to see what the numbers are for his farce.
They gonna be like, YOOOO, WE GOT 25 PPVS BUYS!!!!!
I used to have no issue buying PPV I remember buying Hatton vs Mayweather on HBO with the whole 24/7 build up series beforehand I mean the undercard sucked despite have a young Danny Garcia etc but the whole hype and production and being invested in the fighters from the 24/7 made you want to buy it
Now it's cheap production, average at best commentary and money saved everywhere on promotion to cut corners not to mention the match ups are mostly terrible no wonder ppl stream like myself these days
Well, they said from the beginning that this is just a tune-up before Ryan fight and Hector isn't a big name so wasn't expecting big numbers. Still surprisingly low.
- - Tanksy Lawyer say this ain't enough to cover his hit and run on a pregnant gal trial in Baltimore.
Where are all the comedians on here who laughed at low numbers for GGG, Crawford and Loma in the past? It should never have been a PPV in the first place. A few years ago this would have been a SHOWTIME fight, maybe even Fox. Greed and desperation are driving the sport and top tier fighters are having a difficult time competing with YouTube personalities.
Crawford's last allegedly did 120k.

As much as I like Bud , I really doubt that number
No fughin way
Let alone it was on an unknown app to most , there is no way
Probably true. But once I saw Rick glasseer more then likely just reporter garbage. Rick has lost all credibility maybe hum100 times over? He is always wrong and has been reduced to boarder line twitter troll.

I remember when Rick Glaser's "sources" told him that Errol Spence would never fight again after his car crash.
They are going to have to go a different way with these fights. The more these crappy fights fail the more they will be inclined to do something else.
Don't know how they think a lot of these fights should be on PPV.
