Maidana was getting whooped by Devin Alexander and pretty much on his way out the sport before hooking up with Garcia. Garcia gave Maidana new life and taught him how to set up his power shots. That’s exactly what Villa needs to learn more of. His jab was decent when he threw it but it was abandoned mostly in the Ellis fight. His manager Sampson should advise him to make a trainer switch to Garcia!
