And even then they all fought each other instead of A side or money bs It is the same now when your talking guys to beat everyone knows which are considered the top dogs of each division 90s did Tyson fight Bowe? Belts mean nothing when being held by Smith, plant, Guerrero maidana, and algeri. Especially in the modern era with 4 belts. There has always been multiple belts and awful boxers who have held belts. Since 1983 there have been 3 major belts WBO officially recognised as major i think on 2004 When Marciano fought there was the NYSAC NBA and Ring People love to act as if there was only 1 major belt till this century

I counted the following for active Crawford 6 Spence 7 Thurman 6 Joshua 4 Fury 3 Usyk 6 Lomachenko 8 GGG 5 Bivol 4 Beterbiev 2 Taylor 5 Haney 4 Tank 3 Don't think anyone getting close to 20+ (except Canelo) with how boxing is now. I think Canelo at 16 is impressive as i think the higher division someone is the harder it is. The lower divisions more chance you can move through more divisions and fight more champions.
