The PBC offered Crawford a fight with Thurman last summer, but Crawford turned it down because "he wanted to jump straight to the Spence fight". Yea, his offer was “I’ll be available at the exact same time Spence will be available next year, hope you pick me, toodles.” No idea why Crawford picked Spence to go into negotiations and not Thurman. Truly mind-bobbling, as they say on here. Well, maybe he can make that offer again, and actually present Crawford a deal like Crawford did to him just the year prior, only to be countered with a supposed demand for 10mil.

Two-three fight deal on Crawford, two big matchups, all under your umbrella. Spence pushing Thurman to June due to injuries. Crawford saying he will be ready to fight in March…. But if you don’t get it, you just don’t get it I suppose.

It is clear Crawford began negotiating with BLK while also negotiating with PBC. He went to the highest bidder for the easiest fight, something he did 2x before. He clearly has no intention of fighting Spence unless Haymon compensates him at a level well above his ability to generate revenue. Crawford will likely stay at BLK Prime and take on another mid level ww.
