Do you like him waiting for a fight with Canelo that may never happen? Last I heard, PBC was offering $ 54 million guarantee to Alvarez for such fight.
Any thoughts?
WBC is wasting too much time letting one very inactive guy, who seemed to have developed fear of going back in the ring, hold on to a title without defending it. Announcing he'll be back in June without mentioning an opponent and whether June is the date of the fight, or start of training, and so on, is not clear. Actual ring return could extend much longer... So I don't know why this is being tolerated. Either take mandatory defenses ASAP or vacate and stop wasting everyone's time.
I really don't know what to make of Jermall Charlo. He's a conglomeration of confusing signals that don't make much sense.
He makes stuff up as he goes depending on what people around him want to hear, what his present mood is, what have you.
Last year September, he and Shields came out calling out Golovkin for a title unification. Everyone knows it's just for display purposes. Recently he confronted Bivol and nobody knows what division he's challenging him for/with. SMH, where is the personal issue pictured in between such instances? Is he able to come back or not? What's all these fake exhibitions all about?

- - Y he duck Godot?
He was available right after the Bivol fight. Canelo is on a one fight basis with Hearn. He has no obligation to fight exclusively on DAZN.
Canelo signed a 3 fight dazn deal after the plant fight.
Bivol, GGG, Ryder is the final fight.
Canelo ain't available. He has a fight left on dazn and hes fighting Ryder next

The real question is has Stephen Espinoza, Al Haymon, Showtime and the PBC have given up on Jermall Charlo and I believe the answer is yes. The man hasn't fought and has been inactive for almost two years now with no opponent in sight.
Is PBC no longer interested in the Canelo vs Jermall fight?
Why is Haymon not sending his offer to the Mexican superstar who is available?
Have they given Eddie Hearn free reign to every Canelo fight now?
Seems Jermall Charlo is practically waiting for nothing.

Yeah, it's quite obvious they're overstating the figures just to make ironclad arguments. And if what they're saying is true, PBC should be expected to make offers by now as Canelo is available and have yet to decide which fight he's going to take next.
Canelo next fight is done. It's the euro bum ryder

They’re 32 years old. I gave up on both of them 5 years ago. They should have fought legends at 23- 27 after that you’re going down hill.
I thought he’d be in a big fight already given how outspoken he is
quieter guys have managed to talk themselves into big fights
so why haven’t Charlo nor Andrade
- - Git thee Aunt Bernice to explain light in the loafers.
There's so many choices at 160 now, Liam Smith is the newest addition. You can't discount Eubank yet. Writing off a fighter with a recent loss is utterly ridiculous. He might as well retire.
Is Charlo coming back?
Jermall Charlo hasn't even incurred any loss, yet he already retired, or won't come back for fear of losing. That's how terrible it is losing one fight in this sport.

The loudest guys are always the most scared, In boxing or on the street.
Charlo called out Bivol at 160. That's proof enough lol

More or less
His next fight will be a tune up as he’s been out the ring for so long
I imagine that will be his only fight of next year
He’s done
True. He's done. It's a repeat cycle. And when his tune up is over, how long again before he comes back in the ring? Fans wait so long only to see him fight cans.
