Rahman embarrassed the boxing world last night ! By loosing to Greg Hardy. How did this happen? Size is not an excuse when boxers been beaten by guys 100lb less than them
The football player is a former elite level athlete who is 100lbs heavier than him and actually has some combat sports experience.
This has some truth to it. Football Players are typically incredibly disciplined in regards to diet and training, whilst Boxers tend to be alcoholics, druggies, and blow up in weight in the span of weeks.
Yes. But being 100lbs heavier than your opponent doesn’t nullify that size matters. Hence Cruiserweight division being formed. Also Bridgerweight. And I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Super Heavyweight in pro boxing.
Not a good excuse.
They were pretty much the same height.
Rahman weighed over the joke of the Bridgerweight division limit as well.
He's a fully grown heavyweight. Let's not make silly excuses.
Greg Hardy was simply better, despite being a complete novice.
In fact, there are MANY boxers over 200lb who would knock this guy out, the size is irrelevant.
Lmao! What in the F**K are you talking about, man?! Absolutely nothing you said has anything to do with the substance of my post.
Of course your hero can beat washed up MMA fighters and stuff.
In my post, I stated that it is MY OPINION Spence, Bud, and the elite PROFESSIONAL BOXERS at 154, 160, 168, and 175 end this ignorant fiasco.
The way it spoke made it sound like you somehow feel you corrected me or something. Whatever helps you sleep at night, dude.
- - Don't matter to you that Jake siphoning the funds off the nonstory of Spence vs Bud is fine with me and Jake, but emphatically Jake, and then Logan when he battered l'l floydy from stem to stern, pillar to post have taken the primacy out of boxing.
Most boxers all ain't no good and they know it which is why top guys won't fight, or rather their overseers won't force the top fights, so Jake filling that gap no matter what you sputter about.
Who his next scalp gonna be?
Watching some clips. Rahman’s level was just not enough to beat a guy 100lbs bigger than him even with next to no boxing experience. A slightly better fighter easily handles that dude, guy was there to be hit.
They are both heavyweights aren't they?

That dude is the resident forum halfwit. Just put him on ignore like everyone else.
Thanks for the heads up! I been coming here for a long time as you see but I have avoided getting into endless arguments with folks who make 0 sense.
I appreciate when folks like you clan come through with a quick character summary to prevent me from wasting my time. Cheers, Mate!

That’s why theirs weight classes in boxing. Because no matter your skill level, you can still really hurt/beat someone on just size alone. There’s a point where skills become null due to size. Lesser fighters may be more susceptible to losing to much bigger men.
Even if you start listing off all the smaller fighters who beat a bigger foe, they’re still exceptional, no matter how many examples you list.
Also, this guy isn’t necessarily new to combat sports. That was his second boxing fight, and he has 13 MMA fights.
They are both heavyweights aren't they?
- - Don't even like Jake, but he exposing the dirty truth about this boxing generation by KOing the Fraudulent Fury Family and Rahman family with nary a punch thrown when they couldn't make scratch line for career purses.
Outboxed Spyder who made a monkey out of Jr Chavez. Keep in mind Jake has zero fight experience in boxing or MMA, and done a number on them and making more $$$ than 95% of boxers.
I can see why U got such an inferiority complex with U boys getting waxed monthly. Hang in there and maybe Jake eventually gets flattened and someone will give U a medal if U can find someone with a chest to pin it on...:flowers1::yeah:

Rahman is barely a professional boxer - he's a guy with a famous name fighting cabdrivers off that name for attention. Just like all of Tommy Morrison's bum ass kids or Nico Ali Walsh or Tommy Fury.
They're not even journeymen or gatekeepers. Jake Paul would probably knock them out one by one in a Prizefighter setting.
Hardy hasn't played football since 2015. Since then he's had:
3 amateur MMA fights
13 pro MMA fights
2 pro boxing fights including this one against Rahman
a contract with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (no fights yet, but he's been in training)
He's been a full time fighter for several years at this point.
Yes, it's sad that Rahman lost to a much less experienced fighter. But the keyword there is fighter. He didn't just lose to a random football player. He lost to a legitimate pro fighter than is 100 pounds larger.
Rahman has been boxing for over 14 years...you think Jared Anderson, Rich Torrez or even a smaller man like Usyk would have lost to a fat, out of shape Hardy?

Also Rahman Jr.'s dad kept telling him to knock out Hardy which didn't help, lol.
Jr. doesn't have the power his father has. Not many heavyweights have that level of power.
I thought that wasn't necessarily bad advice, given that Jr doesn't have good defense nor good feet. Rahman rocked him more than once but wasn't able or didn't commit to following up.
Given enough time Hardy coming forward unchecked was going to wreck Rahman. The only thing that saved Rahman from being stopped was Hardy's abysmal cardio and poor technique.

Yeah I’m really happy in retrospect the Rahman Jr vs Paul fight did not happen or Jake would be going around bragging about he proved the haters wrong by beating a “legitimate boxer”.
You can make your own determination whether Jr is or isn’t an average or slightly above average boxer, but damn Jake is annoying.
From 160-175 there are several real pro boxers that would knock Jake’s D*** in the dirt imo. Everyone from Grandpa Lara to Andrade and Charlo and all the way up to the obvious champs at 175.
Possibly even some guys below 160 imo. The elite ones at 154 definitely. I would also pick 147 lb Spence and Dud to beat him especially if they were allowed to put on a few lbs.

Not to talk down on Rahman Jr but he was never good by any professional boxing standard if you have ever seen him actually spar or fight.
He would have a very difficult time reaching journeyman status. And I say that with respect to journeymen out there because they are very skilled compared to a lot of people out there.
