This guy Denis Doughlin is always around the Mayweather Gym and has sparred many big names, he is a legit pro boxer he was talking **** about UFC guys online saying MMA guys have no hands and they cant take a punch and he can beat them and any boxer can beat them etc online
Doughlin was getting his ass beat and talking crap with a mouth full of blood trying to act like he was getting beat up.
Sean Strickland took him up on the offer and sparred him in a smoker match and beat the dog crap outta the boxer, I keep saying it boxers are getting big heads, boxing is not MYTHICAL, there are many guys in UFC if they focused on boxing could hang, even Jake Paul a novice was able to take up and learn boxing quickly, Anderson silva outboxed Julio Cesar Chavez etc

And for some reason…MMA fans think that when fans say that MMA fighters can’t beat boxers…we mean beat ANY boxer. Same goes with boxers beating ANY MMA fighter. On a lower level, yeah they can beat each other. Not on a high level, sorry. We don’t count Sylvia Mercer either.
what are you talking about? little guy dude ? the little guy said he can beat any MMA fighter in boxing, dont matter the size. Floyd boxed a 6 foot 2 and 210 pound logan paul and Floyd weighed 152 pounds at 5'7
This guy thought he could replicate that and was talking crap about mma guys cant take a punch and cant hurt him and how boxers are superior.
That guy doesn’t represent or resemble a fighter. If you think he does because he calls himself a boxer…then you either need help or you’ve never seen a real fighter. There’s levels in boxing and with boxers. Remember that before you pass this garbage off as some sort of MMA comeuppance.
On the forums boxing fans said an MMA guy wouldnt last with someone like Denis, well Denis also said the ame he dont care how big an MMA guy is he would work them and this guy took the challenge and beat him up. MMA is harder than Boxing, just accept it man and im a Boxing fan, I can accept that.
Jake Paul is showing that anyone if they got the athletic IQ can pick up boxing. When a boxer James stepped to MMA he got taken down and submitted by Randy Couture, if a MMA fighter goes to bck he can go many rounds. Conor vs Floyd.
So boxing fans need to stop being ignorant and prideful and claim once an MMA guy fights a pro boxer the MMA guy will get knocked out int he first round nonsense. its more likely the boxer gets submitted in the first round by an mma guy than a boxer knockout an mma guy in the first round.
James Toney going to the UFC might the be the worst example imaginable. His prime was more than a decade before he entered, he was fat as hell, lost his previous boxing match tearing his Achilles where he was flopping around off balance the whole night, and has a flat footed style that is mean to fight in the pocket.
Yeah this guy would do great at defending takedowns.
That's not a smoker lmao. WTH?
And that mma guys hands are dogwank, he's just way bigger and the boxer is cracked look at this blistering losing record.

the truth is its easier for an MMA guy to transition to boxing and be top level than it is for a boxer with no grappling knowledge to transition to MMA.
Nah, the MMA guys wont look like a fish out of water in boxing to anywhere near the extent boxers generally will in MMA. BUT...boxers still have a punchers chance (albeit a pretty slim one) against basically anybody in MMA, even the top guys. You cant say that about MMA fighters boxing high level boxers, because boxing is a much more controlled and predictable environment.
Its much more likely for a boxer to develop decent enough defensive grappling skills to compete at top 10 level in MMA than for an MMA guy to become a high level boxer too. MMA by its nature is a sport you can transition into from other combat sports. Plus for now the talent pool is smaller and you can advance in your career a lot faster, look at how Pereira got fast tracked to a title just now, same with Brock back in the day.
Having said all that, I do think keeping hold of a UFC title and/or undefeated record in MMA is harder than doing the same thing in boxing because of the relative lack of cherry picking and the sheer amount of ways you can fuck up and lose in a split second.

Doesnt matter what he said there are big mouths everywhere doesn't mean you have to believe their bravado, the guy got beat up by a much bigger guy that's what happened, so what, it doesn't mean all MMA guys can beat all boxers or all boxers can beat MMA guys, what it meant is this big guy can beat up this little guy, that's it nothing more.
Its not the point, which is the other guy was way bigger, I'm mean a lot bigger, the little guy got his just desert but it wasn't close to a fair fight.
The only truth is individual circumstances, not blanket statements.

Brutha looks like your typical "cutie" style fighter who try to do their best FMJ and Ezzard Charles impression, but they unfortunately spends more time doing maintenance on his gey beard.
Well Doughlin is not a small guy fights at 175 and 168, the thing is he also talked crap saying he could beat the guy anywhere from 185 pounds etc and that guy fights in the 185 division and, this the thing boxers always talk crap as if they will whoop an MMA guy easy, the truth is its easier for an MMA guy to transition to boxing and be top level than it is for a boxer with no grappling knowledge to transition to MMA.

The first thing I saw was that the white guy was a giant, weight and size mean so much in any kind of fight, when I see a really big guy just walk through a little guy it doesn't mean anything to me other than the little guy didn't have the movement to be able to keep him off.
