Bivol's boxing is simply put, sublime. He may not go for the KO like Kovalev, but he'll school you in every exchange and has no weak links. Unlike Sergey who was a mentally weak bully, Bivol is a Man of Steel- a fighting machine with an unbreakable mind and spirit, a true man of character who will get the job done against any odds. He doesn't look as "slick" as Ward or Hopkins, but his defense is just as good, if not better. He makes you miss with the tiniest of movements and shreds you with clean, razor-sharp combinations. The man leaves no controversy, leaves no doubt in all his fights. No fighter has ever taken more than 2-3 rounds off him. He may not be flashy like Roy Jones Jr, but he has truly mastered the fundamentals of the sweet science. Jab, footwork, distance, timing, defense, counters, combinations, ring IQ, inside, outside.... Bivol is strong in every single area. Everything he does is simple, smooth, effortless and effective. Most importantly, he's never caught off-guard or loses control. He is a great fighter, I really enjoy watching him. He doesn`t seem to care if he fights Russian, Mexican p4p king or the other Mexican, he beats them all and make them look ordinary. Beats them all, a fat Canelo and a guy you said was padded and rubbish, and beating that elevates him to greatness lol he has a long way to be called a great fighter in my book, and that's not to say he can't be, Im just a little more reserved in throwing confetti around on two wins over a guy thats way out of his division and the other a decent fighter but not a AAA guy.

He's a joy to watch, the footwork is sublime. The only complaint I have is that he seems to have decent power but is happy to not introduce any risk by going for a KO. That’s why I want to see the Beterbiev fight so much, I want to see him pushed.
