A lot of tribal nonsense here. Ortiz's team just had to submit paperwork if they wanted their WBO mandatory now. Why didn't they? Why didn't they when they were ranked previously No 1 and mandatory? Two chances to submit paperwork. Trail nonsense. His team doesn't think he is ready.
- - Ain't a legit offer unless terms are acceptable, and everything around Craw stinks today, and in a biz that traditionally stinks, their stink is of offal off the charts.
Gonna have to go through Oscar to make an Ortiz fight, and it should be noted Ortiz not so far removed from his very rare medical diagnosis that had him him in ICU for a spell. Might need a few more fights to get his physical abilities sorted.
But that's the thing - IF Crawford was trying to get him in for a tune-up, it means Crawford was negotiating in bad faith because it means he had no intention of fighting Spence next.
This all could have been avoided if Crawford had simply come out back in March and said, "I'm going to take a tune-up fight before I fight Spence". No, he said Spence next repeatedly.
How can you negotiate with spence manager in bad faith while negotiating with the same manager for a Thurman fight? Make it make sense
Haymon manages spence and thurman. Which means he would be negotiating 2 fights with bud at the same time.
Doesn't matter. Keef said he should fight Crawford and the winner would fight Spence, but both Crawford and Spence acted like he wasn't even a factor.
He isn't a factor. He's a tune up fight
I’d like to hear the other sides to that claim. Ortiz and Thurman were likely offered peanuts if they were in fact offered the fight on serious terms.
Stop making excuses. Ortiz is literally a 2x mandatory to Crawford. His team does not want the fight. Why in the world would they petition the WBA to have an eliminator with STanley? Did you miss that memo? Keef already said he wants a 10 million guarantee to fight Crawford. Delusion. Guess you missed the memo too.
Anybody in talks with PBC, better be considering other options.
PBC = Floyd to you so its easy to see where your BS comes from fanboy, I wonder when you will grow up into a man.
Consider:
If he took the time to talk to Keef - it means he REALLY didn't have any intention of fighting Spence because there was no reason to talk to Keef at all!
Keith has the same manager as errol. So if he was talking to Keith that means Al allowed it.
I don't doubt Thurman and Ortiz were offered the fight, but I don't think Vergil would just say yes without consulting GBP and DAZN. So it's not as simple. I don't know what's Thurman's excuse when he's been hinting that he'll fight Crawford if the fight is offered.

And considering both are managed by Al Haymon.... I mean, come on. I don't even really buy it. One of those "send an email you don't expect a response to" kind of offer, maybe.
Why is it always Fighters who train with him and Bernie his Boxing Equipment Carrier/Waterboy, always speaking for Bud. I like Bud so no disrespect to him, but him as well as Spence need to become much more talkative. That is exactly why the fight is not as BIG as it is suppose to be with Casuals
Disappointed with "So Cold". It's his buddy, we get it. But come on. Crawford had David lined up - which means he was parallel negotiating - which means he didn't really want Spence. He was using Spence's name to negotiate elsewhere. That's bad faith negotiation.
As far as Virgil and Keef, chances are Keef priced himself out and Vergil didn't want to commit to BLK Prime.
- - Nobody will end up committing to BLK except jail bait loosers like Boner All About Broke. Good for Craw to commit to a fight with Ave since he seems to be bankrolling them, the new Haymon wannabees.
Well, good luck with that. 50 went broke promoting boxing.
Also mentions Keith Thurman turning down Crawford.
@32 mins.
Look above. Now, Ortiz didn't want to commit to Black Prime but he was just an opponent for one fight, his mandatory shot. I mean every excuse. This is the 2nd time he has been no 1 WBO ranked. His team doesn't think he is ready, strong but every basic fighter but a high upside like Ennis. Crawford goes in there and gives him a Felix Diaz-type beatdown. Then, what!
Why would they petition to fight Stanley for a Spence mandatory? Use some common sense for once. Why is Ennis positioned by his team for the IBF mandatory? Spence is viewed as the more winnable fight.
Boxing fans showing their rocks again as Bob would say.
