I wish they posted complete break downs of all the financials of the fights. A lot of times I am wondering how they generated $100 million, are there really that many people who wanted to pay to see AJ choke a second time?

Apparently 40 million each is only the purse, then they also get a percentage of the PPV buys, and in AJ's case much more money from his sponsorships. Usyk will probably end up getting anywhere from 50-60 million and AJ might end up with 70-80 mil. This fight for Usyk made him more money than all of his other fights combined. The fight vs Fury if it ever happens will be bigger than even this.

That Saudi blood money. They aren’t aren’t trying to make any profit. It’s all PR for their country. The reported deal for AJ/Fury was $100 million for each guy. If they are willing to pay up they can make Fury/Usyk happen.
