This is how close the fight was yall. If the judge who had Usyk winning 115-113 instead gave AJ one more round, his scorecard would switch to 114-114. Then the scorecards would end up like this..
116-112 Usyk
115-113 AJ
114-114 Draw
The fight would have been an official DRAW.
ONE ROUND!
Some people keep mentioning round 2. What happened there that AJ deserved it? Beside the fact that he was slightly more active compared to the first. I guess “not sucking as much” is a new criteria for winning rounds in this day and age.
It was one of those rounds where it was fairly close but you could only really score it one way. He landed some good shots in an otherwise uneventful round.
I scored it for Joshua. All three judges scored it for Joshua. Boxing Scene scored it for Joshua.
It was a fairly clear Joshua round.
I thought 6 was similarly clear cut. It was close but I'd struggle to see an argument for giving it to Usyk over Joshua.
The scores were fairly close. Why is that such an issue for some people? It doesn't mean Usyk wasn't the better boxer overall and it doesn't mean Usyk didn't deserve to win
Only if you're being generous to Usyk, perhaps getting mesmerized by his footwork and feinting so awarding him the swing rounds. He didn't throw much in many of those rounds. But his footwork, feinting, probing and movement made it appear to some like he was being more active. So there were quite a few swing rounds in the first 2 thirds of the fight. Rounds which either man could win, or could be a draw. Close fight, which Usyk just edged imo.
Oh here we go the Johua incels that cannot accept reality are upon us! If you think that judge, or the multitude of bad judges mean a thing when looking and realistically evaluating a fight your deluded.
Although, I was hoping for a Joshua/Fury fight, I didn’t see last night’s fight anywhere near as close as the Judges had it. AJ was seriously outboxed by a very good boxer.
Joshua vs Fury will still happen and probably within the next 12 months. The fight is still one of the biggest in boxing. And it's not guaranteed Fury will win just because Usyk beat AJ.. Check this >

Glenn Feldman should never judge again, it was obvious Usyk won
No fughin way
Ffs even giggles agrees that Usyk won the fight outright
AJ only needed one round from the judge who had Usyk winning 115-113. Feldman only scored 2 rounds different to that judge. Thats how close the fight was. People got mesmerized by Usyk's movement thinking that wasn't a close fight. Or maybe because he finished on top, they forgot how close the earlier rounds were.
Glenn feldman is a financial advisior, i guess someone was advising him of his finances before this fight & he delivered, now he is lumped with the legendary addy byrd, well done glenn, now go ask the bird lady out for a drink to discuss boxing matters
The Great Nash scored it 118-110 Usyk. We all know what a great scorer of fights Nash is, so it was not close. At least they got the right winner. The judge scoring it for Joshua should never score a fight again. Nash out.

ONE ROUND!
The 114-114 judge shouldn't score another fight! Usyk won 8 rounds to 4 on my card, and that's giving a close round to Joshua.
It wasn’t close though, only on the judges cards
AJ won 3 rounds really. Even a couple of those were close.
