First Tagoe and today Fortuna these two looked scared to engage with young Ryan. Almost like they feel they can get to the kid but once in the ring the speed and power are overwhelming. Can't think of another current fighter who has this aura more than this kid right now.
It mostly due to his speed he can hit them at will 3 or 4 punch combo while their barely able to get 1 shot. His opponents naturally tense up afterwards but I’m interested in seeing Cruz or Davis next how will their styles match up.
It's difficult to engage when you don't have the tools to gain entry. Especially when your opponent is taller, lengthier, quicker, and more explosive. Often ends up putting them in a position where they're waiting on someone like Garcia to make a mistake and get off-balance, but either the window is too small or they're never given an opportunity.
Ryan was dropped brutally by Campbell (who I think was a very good fighter) and came back to put his opponent away. He looked great last night against an overweight, faded version of Fortuna. Garcia still looked impressive but it's hard to take alot away from it.
I still remember him being very fortunate to get the nod against Carlos Morales not too long ago. I'm not trying to rip Garcia, I think he's immensely talented and has potential to be dominant but I haven't seen enough to convince me he definitely gets by Haney or Tank.
Betterbieve was brutally dropped twice by much lesser fighters than Cambell but shhh that never happened.lol
Lol bro the Molina fight was a while ago the kid was like 20-21 at the time lol don't act like it was yesterday lol. Haney was being put on queer street by bums at that stage too..cmon now.
Haney Is so overrated around here it's comical.
Betterbieve has been dropped by journeymen more than once yet no one mentions that.
Garcia was dropped once by a gold medalist not some no name bum yet people act like Betterbieve is God. Funny stuff.

That is what power, and the perception of power can do to some opponents.
It takes a certain type of attitude and fighter to overcome that intimidation etc.
Opinions are like.....you have yours and that's cool. In my opinion,if you really look into Tanks performances, they haven't been that dominant. He gets countered fairly easily coming in,he's been outboxed and down on the cards more often then not. They haven't put him in with a puncher which rings some bells. He said that Rolly of all people had him hesitant to open it up the first half of the fight. Frank Martin put away a fighter in Marinez that Rolly lost to. Tanks career since Pedraza had been smoke n mirrors. Pretty clear he's being protected. Shiet,Mayweather said as much when he said Haney n Shakur need not apply!
Rolly is awkward, and is huge for a LW. I know people don't like him because he is a loud mouth but did you expect Tank to walk thru him? Nobody walks thru Rolly at LW believe it or not lol
Tank can be outboxed but it's going to take a very defensive and disciplined boxer to do so thats why I think Shakur is his biggest threat because Shakur will just run and score points
Tagoe isn't very good and was in survival mode early, Fortuna was out of shape and shopworn. Campbell, whom I'm a fan of, was coming off covid and had one foot in retirement.
That's not to say Garcia isn't good. He is. He has fast, heavy hands and good reflexes. He's long and uses his distance well. If he has his head on straight he is a problem for anyone.
He still gets hit, his offense is his defense. Campbell showed a disciplined puncher can put him on the canvas. Haney doesn't carry pop but he's an ultra skilled boxer. Tank is short but he can take shots and can land in firefights. Both are tough fights for Garcia, he may win them but he could lose them.
Garcia is massive and methodical now...is Davis gonna bring a lift in the ring with him how's that midget gonna get to Garcia chin without catching that rare fight ending power....davis punch hard and punches through people but Garcia has those tap drop you special pop
Honestly I don't see anyone at LW beating Tank. His biggest threat is Shakur if Shakur moves up because he is very elusive and could avoid Tank all night

Everyone thinks they're going to drag him into deep waters and drown him late.
But you can't expose someone who is legit. Ain't nothin to expose with Garcia... he has the talent.
They talk confident until they're in the ring and feel the power and speed.
140 guys will not be

Nah Garcia has evolved bro he wasn't that little twig at this new weight he's massive along with that rare speed and pop...future atg
He'll kick Davis ass, and Haney not even on that level his ass shouldn't even been out there...

It's alright homeboy,Tank didn't lose tonight lol....not yet.

Anytime you have a power puncher with good hand speed (in Ryan's case exceptional hand speed) it is going to make people hesitant to engage. You don't want to put yourself in a range where you don't have enough time to react or defend what is getting thrown back your way.
Of course there are styles that are better suited to go against Ryan's style and there are a couple of guys at 140 that possess a style to negate some of what Ryan is best at so he has challenges for certain in that weight class.
Luke and Fortuna are much more accomplished than Cruz, Barrios, rolly etc.
Let that sink in.
Lol at what? You really propping up old mediocre fighters my man.
Those guys are in their primes except Leo.. All hungry and trying to move up.. That's why they fought hard.
Garcia fighting old mediocre fighters.. of course these old mediocre fighters just trying to survive what do you expect? Lol

Prime doesn't equate to skill,sorry.
Then you tell me what have Leo,Barrios,Cruz,Rolly and everyone one of Tanks opponent since Pedraza has accomplished,"cool points" included?
